The father and son are Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics city volunteers. His father, Shi Gang, is a worker at a local college, and his son, Shi Zehao, is a graduate student majoring in physical education. Since January 28, the pair of volunteers,"father and son soldiers," have been sticking to their volunteer posts at Zhangjiakou Station.

"I am a veteran, and I usually teach my children to do more things that are meaningful to society. After learning about the recruitment of volunteers in Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics, my son found that I also met the registration requirements and mobilized me to register together. Shi Gang said that after online and offline training, induction and internship, as well as various examinations and selections, the father and son were successfully selected and assigned to the same service site.

Assisting the staff to complete the passenger identity verification, guiding the passengers into the station, helping passengers with children or carrying too much luggage to carry their luggage, assisting in the inspection of the 48-hour nucleic acid test results of passengers entering Beijing and the "Beijing Health Treasure" are the main tasks of the father and son. The high-speed rail station has a large number of people at the station entrance, and the volunteer service work is intense, and they often have to shuttle through the station, walking more than 10,000 steps in a day.

"On the day of Chinese New Year's Eve, there was a girl who missed the train back to Beijing, and she was very anxious, so we helped her complete the change in time." Ishizawa Hao said that there is another boss who is taking the high-speed rail for the first time, in order to let him ride smoothly, I accompanied him all the way until the old man got on the car.

More than ten days of experience as a city volunteer made the young Ishizawa Hao feel the spirit of volunteerism more deeply. He said that the Winter Olympics is a grand event for the participation of the whole people, and he is very happy to make some contributions to the Winter Olympics.

This volunteer experience also made his father Shi Gang feel unforgettable. Shi Gang said that after the child went to college, he spent less time with him. I feel very happy that we both participated in this volunteer service together and inspired each other.

What made Shi Gang even more unforgettable was that on the day of Chinese New Year's Eve, it was just in time for his 50th birthday, and the staff and volunteers specially prepared a birthday cake. "I didn't expect to spend my 50th birthday in a volunteer position, and everyone's company and blessings made me feel very happy." Shi Gang said.

According to the family custom, every spring festival, the Shi Gang family will go to grandpa's house for the New Year. This year, because of the Volunteer Service in the Winter Olympic City, they rushed home a little late.
