Luoyang Laozi Memorial Hall, a national key cultural relics protection unit in Henan Province

Luoyang Lao Tzu Memorial Hall is located in the noisy and bustling Zushi Temple on North Avenue in the old town of Luoyang, which has been standing quietly for nearly a thousand years.    

Luoyang Zushi Temple was built in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties, covering an area of about 1700 square meters, and now has a front hall, a main hall and an east ear room. Among them, the main hall sits north to south, 5 rooms wide, 3 deep rooms, 1 warm pavilion on the left and right of the hall, the top of the mountain, the surrounding arch, the cornices are upturned, the glazed tiles are covered, the top ridge is decorated with pottery dragon kisses, the back is decorated with dragons, lotus flower faience reliefs, and the four corners of the top of the hall are decorated with four gods.  

   Luoyang Laozi Memorial Hall hall was originally dedicated to the god of the north Zhenwu Emperor, during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the incense of the Zushi Temple was still quite exuberant, and the temple had a theater building, a gate, a wall and a front and back hall.  

   In March 2006, Zushi Temple was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
