During the Spring Festival, I watched lao Mozi's movie "Sniper", which is of course a good work with small views and big pictures, small scenes, big productions, gripping and touching. It's one of the best movies I've seen in the last year.

However, what I particularly like is the movie based on Keigo Higashino's suspense novel. Among them, "The Dedication of Suspect X" I watched the Japanese, Korean and domestic versions. Of all Keigo Higashino's films, I personally feel the best one is "When the Prayer Ends", not only did I read the novel twice, but I also watched the movies in theaters, computers, and mobile phones (I feel that the Japanese version is better than the Chinese version). At least in the last 3 or 4 years, I feel that no film can surpass it (only one World War II-themed "Persian Lesson" is so shocking that for a long time, I did not want to see those so-called blockbusters in theaters.

The plot of this "When the Prayer Ends" seems to be brain-burning, but it is actually shocking. The father, who is particularly kind and caring for his daughter, has been anonymous + imposter, and finally became a murderer in order not to expose his daughter. At the same time, in order to protect his daughter forever and reassure her completely, the father chose to kill all traces by suicide (including the daughter's previous manslaughter). The scene in which the daughter strangles her father in order to alleviate the pain of her father's self-immolation, coupled with the moving theme music, gives the audience too much impact. Also, Matsushima Naoko, who plays her daughter, is not only beautiful, but her acting skills are first-class.

Film is a comprehensive art, and a good film definitely needs a good story, good acting, good music, good photography and fine art, and so on. Compare Sniper to When the Prayer Ends, at least in terms of plot and music, which is better. There are many films based on Keigo Higashino's novels, and "When the Prayer Ends" is particularly well received by the audience, which is clearer, more reasonable and therefore more touching than the clues of "White Night". My own preference for movies is the protagonist's acting skills + theme music touching, from this point of view, among the many old plots, I like "My Father and Mother" the most, Zhang Ziyi acted fantastically, the theme music when she ran all the way with dumplings was too good to listen to, too touching.
