The "Celebrating Goddess Challenge" is held every two years and invites up-and-coming designers to participate. The event aims to inspire the statue of the "Goddess of Celebration" on the hood of each Rolls-Royce car, inspiring boundless creativity and extraordinary creation.

A jury of authoritative design experts will finally select three designers to be shortlisted for the inaugural Celebration Goddess Challenge. The jury included Anders Worming, Rolls-Royce Automotive Design Director, Ann Yin, Director of Dior Men's Jewelry and Founder of AMBUSH, Tim Marlowe, Director and Director of the Design Museum in London, and Sumiya Wally, Founder and Head of Counterspace Studio Design in Johannesburg.

Sophisticated materials are at the heart of Rolls-Royce's exquisite craftsmanship, and the challenge invites emerging designers to try and push the boundaries of material applications, harmonizing design, materials and craftsmanship. While inheriting the tradition, the "Celebrating Goddess Challenge" uses different materials as the creative carrier to apply innovation to a variety of fields. The material carrier designated by the first "Celebrating Goddess Challenge" in 2022 is textiles. The finalists will be announced in March 2022.
