The reporter learned that a few days ago, the Fujian Provincial People's Government announced the seventh batch of 188 items on the list of representative items of provincial intangible cultural heritage, of which 157 items were added to the list of new items, and 31 items were expanded from the first to sixth batch of the list of representative items of provincial intangible cultural heritage.

In the list released this time, Quanzhou has a total of 29 entries in folk literature, traditional music, traditional sports, traditional games and acrobatics, traditional art, traditional skills, traditional medicine, folklore and other projects. Among them, 24 items have been added to the list of new projects, and 5 items have been expanded from the first to the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative project lists.

Not simply, Quanzhou also has 5 world-class intangible cultural heritage projects, and is the only city in the country to have three categories of intangible cultural heritage projects of the United Nations.
