Nine Days Mountain nostalgia

Tang Liu Yuxi has a famous saying in the "Buried Room Inscription": "The mountain is not high, and the immortal is named." "The Nine Days Mountain, seven kilometers outside the west gate of Quanzhou, is like this.

Jiuri Mountain is only 90 meters high, but it stands majestically on the shore of the Jinjiang River, with huge rocks and flowers and trees. Since the Jin and Tang Dynasties, there have been many high-ranking people and nobles living in seclusion. During the Southern Dynasty, when the Indian monk Janaradra "came to China across the sea", he passed through The Yanfu Temple under the mountain (abandoned during the Cultural Revolution), where he hung a staff and translated the Diamond Sutra. To this day, there is also a stone plate on the west peak of The Nine Days Mountain called the "Sutra Turning Stone", which is said to be the place where the senior monks often went in those days.

In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, the poet Qin Shi came to the south to avoid the "Anshi Rebellion" and lived in seclusion for more than 20 years in 780 AD at the Peak of The Nine Days of Shanxi. At this time, Jiang Gongfu, the chancellor of the Tang Dynasty, was demoted to Quanzhou Beichai because he bluntly and dared to offend the emperor. He also came to the East Peak of jiuri mountain to live in seclusion, and stayed with the Qin family for 13 years. The two people are in agreement, and the old Lin Quan has been passed down as a good story for a while.

At this time, Ouyang Zhan, a young talent in Quanzhou who "has not been with the children since childhood", also came to exchange knowledge with the second elder, chanted Xishan, and became a year-old friend.

In the poem "Sending Jiang Xiang to the Moon in the Boat", he expressed the sincere feelings and persistent pursuit of "that has to be huffled and turned, from the jun to the YuLou", which was also praised by the people of the time.

At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Han Wei, who had the title of "Xiangyi Poet", was squeezed south by Zhu Quanzhong, the grandfather of the Fifth Dynasty of Liang, and also stayed in the Nine Days Mountain, where he died.

Although the above four people were not "immortals", they were all famous literati in the country at that time, they admired the Nine Days Mountain, lived in seclusion on the Nine Days Mountain, and naturally made it famous, so posterity was very nostalgic and respectful of them, and built a "Four Sages Shrine" at the foot of the mountain to commemorate it. So far, the east peak where Jiang Gongfu lives is called Jiang Xiangfeng, and the west peak where the Qin family lives is called Gao Shifeng, and it is said that there was still a "Qin Junting" on it before!

The tombs of Jiang Gongfu and Han Wei still exist today. Tourists come here to hang, I am afraid it is inevitable to send a thought of the ancient humor.
