Artist Profile
Fan Xilun, born in Heilongjiang, is an ink landscape painter and a national senior artist. He is currently a member of the Artists Association of central state organs and the vice chairman of the National Committee of Calligraphy and Painting. CCTV is the first batch of historical and cultural inheritors in the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, a member of the jury of the Soxing China (filed by the Ministry of Culture) Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and a CCTV Chinese Contemporary Virtue and Art Artist. The China Artists Association, the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee are specially awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist" in the centenary of the founding of the Party. His works have been collected by Dunhuang Art Museum, Painting Saint Wu Daozi Art Museum, etc., and the calligraphy and painting works (Chinese paintings) "Huaxia Xiangruitu" created for the Sino-Kyrgyz Cultural Exchange National Ceremony Project of the SCO Summit were collected by the Prime Minister's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the collection certificate was jointly issued by the Chinese side and the Kyrgyz Republic Deputy Prime Minister Omurbekova.
His works won the "Gold Medal" of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting of the 28th World Heritage Committee of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee; UNESCO World Heritage Centre "World Heritage in China" Art Exhibition "Excellence" Award. "Country Snow" was included in the 2012 "Carrousel International Art Exhibition in France"; Exhibition of excellent works in China at the East-West International Art Exhibition in Paris, France (Louvre Carrousel); The 5th Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition "Innovation Award"; Exhibited in the National Library of Art Museum "Light of China" National Calligraphy and Painting Works Exhibition; He was invited to participate in CCTV's depiction of the new countryside - the national fine arts works tour exhibition.
