Look up to the mi high, drill the mi jian. Fu Shengyan Yuan said that the more Confucius's learning looked up, the more he felt sublime, and the more he specialized in studying, the more difficult it was.
As the most holy teacher of the Chinese nation, Confucius made great achievements in moral cultivation and in dealing with people and things. Throughout his life, Confucius devoted himself to the concept of "governing the country with benevolence and righteousness", often taking the "Zhou Gong" as an example, and his idea of "self-cultivation and morality" to promote social harmony and progress profoundly influenced the state governance system of many later dynasties. His words and nature are models and examples worthy of eternal study by my Chinese people.
Confucius said, "Look up to the mi high, drill the mi jian." The words are from the Analects of Zihan, which is Fu Shengyan Yuan's comment on the teacher's learning. He said: "The more the teacher's learning, the more he looks up, the more lofty he seems, and the more he specializes, the more he feels solid. Confucianism itself is a very easy learning for our descendants, such as, "Threesomes, there must be my teacher", "Knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing, is knowing", "There are guests who come from afar, and they are not happy", and so on. However, our descendants can only understand the connotation of Confucius's expression from his words, but if we go deep into the general environment of the Spring and Autumn Period, and add that Confucius's ideas have been passed down to future generations for more than two thousand years, it is not so simple. Even if a sentence of ordinary people has been studied by themselves for decades, I am afraid that it will not be passed down for three or five years by future generations, not to mention the more than two thousand years of Confucius's thought and speech. Therefore, from this we can know that the Kong Confucianism we are practicing is only the tip of the iceberg. As Fu Shengyan Yuan said, Confucius's thought "looks up to the mi high, drills the mi jian"
As the most holy teacher of the Chinese nation, the Confucian doctrines created by Confucius himself and his disciples provided a rich ideological foundation for social governance and the progress of civilization in later generations.
