6 people in our city were selected as the sixth batch of representative inheritors of provincial intangible cultural heritage

Recently, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province announced the list of representative inheritors of the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects, and 6 people were selected, including Liang Xuezhu, the inheritor of the eight monsters, Liu Haichao, the inheritor of the Linghe Big Drum, Zhang Jiangong, the inheritor of the clay sculpture, Li Quanyong, the inheritor of the face sculpture, Sui Yiyang, the inheritor of the guqin cutting technique, and Jin Yange, the inheritor of the Pingquan sheep soup making technique.

The new provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects in our city include traditional dance, music art, traditional art, traditional skills, etc.

It is understood that the Eight Monsters are a traditional folk lantern dance unique to Longhua County, which has been around for more than 180 years. After being excavated, sorted out and improved by the cultural department, it has gradually become a cultural brand of Longhua and even Hebei Province.

Linghe Big Drum is a kind of music developed from the "local big drum" in the songyingzi area in the northeast of Pingquan City, with beautiful melody, rich melody, and strong artistic appeal.

In 2019, Chengde "Clay Man Zhang" was rated as the intangible cultural heritage of Hebei Province, and more than 1,000 works of art created by the inheritor Zhang Jiangong have been deeply loved by the masses.

Li Quanyong is the sixth generation of "face man Li", at the age of 5 began to learn the face sculpture technique with his uncle, in the face plastic technique, Li Quanyong inherited the "kneading, pressing, pinching, rubbing, picking, pressing, plucking" skills of Li's face sculpture, and the face sculpture works he made were vivid and realistic.

Traditional guqin cutting techniques, can be verified for a history of about 3,000 years, Kang Yongqian three generations of emperors intoxicated with the guqin, and brought this traditional culture into our city, has had a profound impact on the study and development of the city's guqin culture.

The Kangxi Emperor once ate Pingquan sheep soup, which was made of haggis with a variety of condiments, with fine selection of ingredients, pure taste, unique cooking, clear and mellow taste, endless aftertaste after eating, and pingquan sheep soup production technology has a history of more than 300 years, which has been handed down to this day.

The representative inheritors of the representative projects of intangible cultural heritage, who have mastered the rich experience and knowledge of intangible cultural heritage, are important practitioners, bearers and transmitters of intangible cultural heritage, and are the core of the protection and living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Up to now, there are 3 national non-hereditary inheritors, 43 provincial non-genetic inheritors and 113 municipal non-genetic inheritors in our city.
