On April 26th, the third issue of the fourth season of the Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Forum "Remembering Jiangnan" with the inheritor of the Zhejiang School Guqin" will be held in Hangzhou Xiaying Qin Museum. The forum was hosted by the Gongshu District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Archives and the Hangzhou Gongshu District Cultural Relics and Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.

Guqin Art (Zhejiang School) Zhejiang Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Inheritor, Director of Xiaying Qin Museum, Director of China Qin Association, Director of China Kunqu Guqin Research Association, Vice President of Zhejiang Qin Association.

The Song Dynasty was the heyday of the development of Chinese guqin art, and for this reason, there was the first genre named after the region in the history of guqin, which began in the Southern Song Dynasty and originated in Hangzhou.

When it comes to the "Zhejiang Guqin", we have to mention its representative inheritor Zhang Yiqing. Zhang Yiqing has been learning the art of qin and zheng since 1976, and has fully mastered the music and performance techniques of the Zhejiang school, and has been studying qin songs and singing, with a deep foundation in poetry and history, and has created a large number of poetry works combined with chanting and rhyme to compose qin songs.

Zhang Yiqing's guqin performance won the charm of the Zhejiang guqin. She has carried out in-depth historical data excavation and collation, published many papers such as "The Rheology of Xiaoxiang Water and Clouds", and published books "Basic Course of Zhejiang Guqin", CD "Zhejiang Yin Yayun - Zhang Yiqing Guqin Album" and so on.

With more than 40 years of experience, Zhang Yiqing has participated in many guqin art and academic exchange activities across the country, and has visited Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Europe and other countries and regions for performances and lectures. In 2022, he will go to Beijing with the Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee to promote Song Yun culture during the Beijing Winter Olympics. With more than 30 years of teaching, students have traveled all over the world, planned a number of Zhejiang-style guqin inheritance activities and concerts, and assisted in the establishment and development of guqin clubs and local guqin clubs in colleges and universities in the province.

In this lecture, Zhang Yiqing will talk about the origin, development and relationship between guqin art (Zhejiang school) and other genres, so that we can "remember Jiangnan" with the inheritors of guqin.
