Recently, the Lejiayuan Elderly Service Center in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City officially opened a class for the elderly, and specially launched a guqin course, aiming to enrich the cultural life of the community residents of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, show the center's deep concern for the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly, and improve the cultural literacy of the elderly.
The guqin course specially invited guqin master Liang Chunjie as the teacher, the course content covers the basic knowledge of guqin, performance skills and classic repertoire appreciation and other aspects. In the class, Mr. Liang explained the structure, rhythm and performance skills of the guqin in simple terms, and also led the elders to enjoy a number of classic repertoire. The elders were fascinated by the listening and said that by learning the guqin, they not only exercised their finger dexterity, but more importantly, improved their aesthetic taste and cultural accomplishment.
The person in charge of the Lejiayuan Elderly Service Center said that the opening of guqin courses is an important measure for the center to promote the construction of community culture. As a treasure of traditional Chinese culture, the guqin's profound cultural heritage and artistic value are of great significance for improving the cultural literacy of the elderly. In the future, the center will continue to build the elderly classroom into a cultural platform integrating learning, communication and inheritance through a series of curriculum and activity arrangements, so as to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly.
