Zheng Shuzu's "Tianzhu Mountain Inscription" is a book, carved stone by Northern Qi Moya, and carved in May of the first year of Tiantong (565). It is generally believed that zheng shuzu wrote and wrote dan, which belongs to the eight-point book (a kind of lishu) calligraphy work. About 3.5 meters high, about 3 meters wide and about 2 meters thick, the rough stone was originally in the western foothills of Tianzhu Mountain in Dazeshan Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province, and was destroyed in the spring of 1968, and more than 40 pieces of the remaining stones are stored in the Pingdu City Museum.
The "Tianzhu Mountain Inscription" is divided into two parts, the inscription first describes the Zhong Ling Shenxiu of Tianzhu Mountain, then narrates the political virtue and great achievements of Zheng Shuzu's father Zheng Daozhao, and finally describes Zheng Shuzu's own efforts and feelings, and the inscription is a summary of the inscription. In calligraphy, this inscription uses a pen to pave the millimeter, more dew, more square pens, astringent strokes, thick strokes, large starting, closing, turning and folding movements, obvious traces, fewer wave pens, and more calligraphy factors. The knot is longitudinal and square, the stroke arrangement is more random, close to the knot of the letter, and the center of gravity of the body is centered. In general, there are more factors in the lettering, and the body posture is close to the letter; there are many straight strokes, and it is almost subordinate.
This inscription calligraphy is ancient and clumsy, following the Northern Wei calligraphy style, but the taste of the li is stronger, and its characters are more square and written in the form of li. Although the lishu is the basic feature, there are sometimes knots of the letters, which are blended with the pen. Northern Qi was in a transitional period from subordination to Kai, at that time, Lishu and Kaishu were all universal calligraphy, and some inscriptions were often in mixed places, and some appeared blunt and could not be harmonious. The style of this inscription is different from the general style, with the pen square in the circle, the dot painting is strong and strong, the steep does not lose thickness, the mighty is exposed and peaceful, and the majesty is strong.
