The world's largest! The Beijing Winter Olympics will demonstrate the operation of more than 1,000 hydrogen energy vehicles

According to the data released by the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, the Beijing Winter Olympics will demonstrate the operation of more than 1,000 hydrogen energy vehicles, equipped with more than 30 hydrogen refueling stations, which is the world's largest fuel cell vehicle demonstration. Among them, the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles of Toyota Motor, BAIC Group, Yutong Bus, Foton Motor and other car companies have been invested in the Winter Olympics.

It is reported that the Beijing Winter Olympics will make full use of the Beijing Olympic Venues, 4 ice venues use new carbon dioxide refrigerants, built more than 50,000 square meters of ultra-low energy consumption demonstration projects, all venues 100% of the conventional energy use of green electricity. In addition, the Beijing Winter Olympics focused on building a low-carbon transportation system, of which energy-saving and clean energy vehicles accounted for more than 80% of the vehicles during the race.

Up to now, PetroChina has built 4 hydrogen refueling stations in the Beijing Winter Olympics area, and the hydrogen supply capacity during the Winter Olympics will reach 5500 kg/day.

It is worth mentioning that the hydrogen energy industry is an area that we need to pay attention to in the future, after the agency predicted that by 2030, the demand for hydrogen in the mainland will reach 35 million tons, accounting for 5% of the terminal energy system.
