BYD announces January sales figures, up 126.1% year-on-year

Recently, BYD released sales data for January 2022, according to BYD's official data, BYD passenger cars sold 95,180 units in January, an increase of 126.1% year-on-year. Among them, new energy passenger car sales of 92,926 units, an increase of 367.6% year-on-year. The DM series sold a total of 46,540 units and the EV series sold 46,386 units.

In terms of specific sales, the Han family sold 12,780 vehicles in January, and the Han EV increased by 8.1% year-on-year; the Tang family sold 9,060 vehicles in January, and the new generation of Tang DM increased by 481.3% year-on-year; the Song family sold 22,449 vehicles in January, and the Song EV increased by 3,093.3% year-on-year; the Qin family sold 26,542 vehicles in January, and the Qin PLUS DM-i increased by 6.7% month-on-month; the Yuan family sold 8,569 vehicles in January, an increase of 1643.6% year-on-year; and the e-series 4364 vehicles. Among them, e2 increased by 235.1% year-on-year; Dolphin model sales in January were 10,602 units, an increase of 5.9% month-on-month.
