Ruixue ushered in the Winter Olympics, and the intangible cultural heritage shined. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games, the Bei'an Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center organized 8 provincial and municipal non-hereditary inheritors in the city to carefully create works of art on the theme of ice and snow to help the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games be held.
This batch of ice and snow-themed artworks include Bei'an wood carving, brand painting, mullet embroidery, mamma paper-cutting, clay sculpture, comic strip and mussel shell painting, showing the exquisite skills and unique charm of Bei'an's intangible cultural heritage, and expressing the Olympic spirit with rich Chinese cultural elements, interpretation and innovation.
