#Painting # In the 17th century BC, Akrotiri's Minoan mural "Boxing Boy", the mural is rich in color, two braided teenagers naked and wearing only one boxing glove in the fight. The picture does not show the slightest tension.

In southern Santorini (near the Red Sand Beach), Syrah Akrotiri is the site of an Aegean (city center) site, and in 1963 the mural was excavated. The city was once uniquely built, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and an elaborate sewerage system. A volcanic eruption at the end of the 16th century BC buried the settlement. Civilizations dating back more than 3,600 years disappeared in an instant. The frescoes are now in the Akrotiri Heritage Gallery of the National Archaeological Museum of Athens.
