IT House news on February 3, after eight years of production of "Resident Evil 4" fan homemade HD Mod is now officially launched.
Launched eight years ago by Resident Evil fans Cris Morales and Albert Martin, Resident Evil 4 HD Project 1.0 replaces almost all of the game's textures with new high-resolution textures and replaces many flat objects such as lights, candlesticks, and doors with new 3D models.
The mod also fixes many sound errors and corrupted / missing effects. For some textures, Martin went to the same location in Spain and Wales where Capcom had taken the shot and took the photo again, making the high-resolution texture as accurate as possible.
IT House learned that because of copyright issues, the Mod required players to own a Resident Evil 4 game on Steam and then use mod to replace some of the content.
