Fans have restored Final Fantasy 7 Remake to a Final Fantasy 7 perspective

One YouTube user, Flurdeh, used a Final Fantasy 7 remake mod and some lens tilt techniques to turn the JRPG game into a more recognizable "classic" look — like the fixed perspective of the original Final Fantasy 7 — only with a stronger level of graphics and more gorgeous visuals.

This isn't the first time mod makers have recreated the original camera angle for the PS1 version of Final Fantasy VII in a remake, and they've even made a classic-style battle mod.

Still, while Fluldeh used the Camera Perspective Mod created by Frans Bouma, it was more for artistic purposes, recreating a "miniature world" with Final Fantasy characters rather than an actual playable game.

Flurdeh has done this in the past for several games, such as Red Dead Redemption 2. He used tilt-shift photography to turn these games into beautiful stereoscopic models that look like table games, and the results were both sweet and stunning. Playing Final Fantasy VII Remake like this can be difficult, but it does look cool.
