The new Jeep Wagoneer model was officially released last year, and the most obvious change in the new car is the wheelbase and body of the Wagoneer, which has been significantly lengthened so that it can compete head-on with the long wheelbase versions of Cadillac Kered, Lincoln Navigator and other models.
In terms of appearance, the all-new Jeep Wagoneer was officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November and is currently the flagship model of the Jeep brand. From the spy photo, the new long-wheelbase version of the model is basically consistent with the standard axle version model in the front design, using the family's iconic seven-hole grille design, the grille interior is decorated by dot matrix type mesh, each intake opening is also equipped with chrome trim strips around the periphery, with flat headlights on both sides, the overall is very recognizable. It is expected that the new car will still be equipped with a penetrating chrome trim above the grille, including the lower air intake opening of the through type, as well as the design of fog lights and guard plates, which are also consistent with the standard axle version.
The all-new Jeep Wagoneer standard-axle model itself has a very large body, with a length, width and height of 5453/2123/1920 mm and a wheelbase of 3124 mm. On this basis, the long-wheelbase version of the new car has been significantly lengthened. As can be seen from the spy photos, the rear wheel head of the test car has a very obvious backward shift compared to the standard axle version, the side window area between the C/D columns has also become larger, and the seating space in the car and the storage capacity of the trunk are expected to be significantly improved.
At the rear, on the whole, the rear of the new car also maintains the boxy shape of the standard wheelbase version of the model, and the flat taillights and the chrome trim strip through the center are also retained, and a hidden exhaust layout is adopted. It is expected that the new car will only adjust the tail markings to highlight its own long wheelbase version.
In terms of power, the new car will continue to be equipped with a 5.7L V8 naturally aspirated engine, and is equipped with a 48V light hybrid system, the system has a combined maximum power of 392 hp and a peak torque of 548 Nm, matching the 8-speed manual transmission. In addition, according to foreign media reports, the new car may also provide a 6.4L naturally aspirated V8 engine, with a maximum power increase of 471 horsepower and a peak torque increase of 617 Nm.
