Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation Center Wang Guo:

A tiger man rooted in the City God Temple

Tiger People | Wang Guo, Cultural Tourism Development and Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center of Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province: Tiger People rooted in the City God Temple

Born in Langzhong City, Sichuan Province, I switched from physics to cultural relics and museums when I was in graduate school. At that time, I often went to Zhejiang to feel the local cultural heritage, saw that the government attached importance to cultural undertakings, and finally followed the advice of my mentor to develop in Zhejiang.

I still remember the end of 2014, the first time I stepped into the Jinhua City Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center - JinhuaFu City God Temple on the road, at that time, the cold wind was running rampant in the quaint and quiet temple, wrapping up the corner of the wall, lifting the brass bell on the incense burner, knocking out a crisp sound, and the empty courtyard was particularly loud, which made my awe awe. Intangible cultural heritage is a new world, and everything must be learned from scratch. Learning from colleagues, learning from books, and learning from work, I absorbed intangible cultural heritage knowledge like a sponge and continuously enhanced my skills.

In September 2016, I moved from intangible cultural heritage protection to comprehensive writing work, from the south side of the temple east courtyard to the north, responsible for compiling and printing the quarterly magazine "Culture Jinhua" sponsored by the Jinhua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism (formerly jinhua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television News and Publications). In the past few years, "Culture Jinhua" has won awards in the second and third National Culture (Qunyi) Museum Periodicals Selection and AwardIng Exhibition Activities, won the Zhejiang Provincial Qunwen Periodicals Orchid Gold Award for 3 consecutive years, and since 2017, Jinhua City's "Excellent Internal Journal Gold Award" has never been absent, and I have also won the title of "Excellent Publisher" many times.

The east wind of the fusion of culture and tourism blew into the City God Temple. In August 2020, I moved from the East Courtyard of the City God Temple to the West Courtyard because I returned to my work as an intangible cultural heritage. Back at the place where the dream began, I immediately began a new struggle with my partners, the Youth Non-Heritage Contest, the "Wufeng Relics • Ink Painting Jinhua" Intangible Cultural Heritage Drama, a Dream Return to Wuzhou Yue Night Tour, the Jinhua Intangible Cultural Heritage Parlor (Beijing)... Years of growth and accumulation have finally blossomed and borne fruit under the integration of culture and tourism - the annual Boao International Tourism Award Annual Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Award, the Zhejiang Provincial Organization Award, Gold Award, Silver Award, Jinhua Municipal Gold Award, etc., which make us busy and happy.

In the middle of the circle, I also seemed to have taken root in the City God Temple. May the year of the tiger be filled with tigers in the year of the tiger, and the tigers of the thirty-six will be like tigers in this place, and they will come out of the dragon and leap out of the tiger, and the tiger and tiger will be mighty!
