For the Olympic Games, the official opening of the Winter Olympic Village also means that the Olympic doors of various delegations have officially opened. Journalists can't get inside like in previous sessions, and can only get a glimpse of the Winter Olympic Village through a specially set up mixed interview area. However, the familiar flag-raising plaza, the familiar "Olympic Village" three big characters, and the familiar flags of various delegations hanging outside the windows will make the athletes immediately find the familiar "feeling of home".
Zhang Guannan, deputy director of the external liaison department of the Beijing Winter Olympic Village Operation Team, said that the most beautiful scenery of the Olympic Village is actually brought by these athletes:
For the Winter Olympic Village, the most beautiful scenery is not actually created by our running team, but by various delegations to their living space, living buildings. In fact, we can see from afar outside, such as the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and our Chinese delegation, all of which have made a very distinctive arrangement of the assigned stairs.
The Winter Olympic Village is the home of athletes, the largest non-competitive venue of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and one of the venues with the longest service guarantee time in the entire Winter Olympic Games, providing 24-hour high-quality guarantee services for delegations. In the living area, in addition to warm and comfortable accommodation services, there are fitness centers, entertainment centers, comprehensive clinics and other related functional spaces.

During the stay in the Winter Olympic Village, according to the requirements of the epidemic prevention manual, all residents, whether athletes, team officials and staff, are required to undergo nucleic acid testing every day. All points in the village have set up epidemic prevention signs, 1 meter line, etc., which are reminders.
The registration center of Beijing Winter Olympic Village is the first stop for athletes to arrive, the rows of red brick buildings are renovated from old factories, and they are also the infrastructure of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and the concept of "frugal olympics" and the inheritance between the Summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics are integrated in this historical hue. Zhang Guannan said that the post-match utilization problem of the Winter Olympic Village has been thought out at the beginning of the planning:
Our residential area, that is, the athletes' apartment, will become a talent public rental house in Beijing after the Olympic Games, and our square area will also be a large commercial square open to the public after the games, and the subway will also be in this area. These advance plans for post-race utilization issues have maximized the use of venue resources.
