Zhang Jing: The Beijing Winter Paralympic Games are divided into three divisions: Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. In the Beijing division, there will be paralympic ice hockey and wheelchair curling competitions, with 8 and 12 teams respectively, 14 delegations from China and the Czech Republic, and more than 400 athletes and team officials are expected.

Since the official opening of the village yesterday (25th), the catering and super resident service center in Beijing Winter Paralympic Village has also opened a 24-hour operation mode. This is also according to the custom, taking into account that some athletes train very early in the morning, the end of the game in the evening, and the time difference or living habits, so that athletes and team officials can enjoy food, refreshments, as well as self-service laundry, conference room reservation and other services at any time.
Shuttles guarantee paralympic athletes travelling to and from the competition venues
Yesterday (25th) evening, the Chinese team and the Czech team booked a shuttle bus from the Winter Paralympic Village to the venue to familiarize themselves with the equipment and do adaptive training. There are no seats in the middle of the vehicle, which can hold six wheelchairs, and there are also retractable ramps to facilitate the boarding and disembarking of Paralympic athletes in wheelchairs or on crutches. Every day, before departure, the traffic team of Beijing Winter Paralympic Village inspects the Paralympic vehicles to ensure safe operation.
Volunteers provide services to help coordinate communication
In the Beijing Winter Paralympic Village, there are various volunteers such as transportation, medical treatment, registration, and guidance. At the same time, each delegation is also equipped with corresponding volunteers according to the number of people, also known as delegation assistants. They live in the mission and do day-to-day coordination, translation, material handling and other work for them.
