Tourists can take the ropeway to overlook the Haituo Mountain, or visit the National Alpine Ski Center "Snow Flying Swallow" and the National Snowmobile Bobsleigh Center "Snow Tour Dragon", experience the winter Olympic village athletes' restaurant, accommodation, and feel the atmosphere of the Winter Olympic And Paralympic Games. At that time, the athletes' restaurant will resume the game-time dining, and visitors will have the opportunity to taste the same pie as Gu Ailing.
Yanqing Olympic Park is located in the southern foothills of Haituo Mountain, 2198 meters above sea level, mainly composed of the National Alpine Ski Center, the National Bobsleigh Center, and the Yanqing Winter Olympic Village. The ropeway is an indispensable means of transportation here, with a total of 9 aerial ropeways and 2 towing ropeways, with a total length of about 10.3 kilometers and a drop of 900 meters, connecting the Yanqing Winter Olympic Village and the alpine ski center.
After the opening of the park, the six ABCDEF ropeways will open to the summit departure area of the Alpine Ski Center. The summit is small, but the scenery is beautiful, overlooking the mountains and replenishing the rest. There are geographical monuments of Haituo Mountain, as well as light meals and toilets. Although the snow on the slopes of the National Alpine Ski Center has melted, the shape of the pistes is still clearly visible.
The National Bobsleigh Centre, located halfway up the mountain, is also open to guests. The National Bobsleigh Centre has a unique curvature of 16 curves with different angles and inclinations, including the world's rare 360-degree slalom track, where visitors can visit the interior of the bobsleigh along the pedestrian area and experience the excitement of flying on the bobsleigh track through VR interactive equipment. Along the roof of the venue, there is a 1.9 km sightseeing road, along which visitors can enjoy the charm of the difficult track from the venue's departure area to the end area. In the departure area of the venue, there is also a Winter Olympics-themed calligraphy and painting art exhibition available for visits.
At the foot of Haituo Mountain, Yanqing Winter Olympic Village is looking forward to. Covering an area of 13.4 hectares, the Winter Olympic Village is composed of semi-open Chinese courtyards built on the mountain, which has provided accommodation, comprehensive services, logistics support, etc. for athletes and team officials during the competition, and is the "base camp" for the participants.
After the opening of the Yanqing Olympic Park, the Winter Olympic Village will open 100 rooms to the outside world, the rooms will be consistent with the game, visitors can not only experience the "Winter Olympic Smart Bed" that became popular during the game, but also immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Winter Olympics, including convenient international sockets, telephone interfaces, with the Olympic five rings, "BEIJING2022", "ice pier" and other Winter Olympic decorative elements, "one second" travel back to the Winter Olympic Games.
At the same time, in the Yanqing Winter Olympic Village, the athletes' hot punch card of the Winter Olympic Goddess Statue, "Ice Pier", "Snow Rongrong" landscape sketches, etc. will be preserved as they are, and franchise stores sell the same licensed goods as during the game.
What is more worth looking forward to is that the athletes' restaurant will resume the catering during the game, and tourists can eat the athletes' food that was on fire during the game, including gu Ailing's same pie, bean buns and dumplings that were brought on fire by foreign athletes.
After this opening, the park will continue to improve. For example, plans to add mountaintop boardwalks, the world's largest "ice piers" and "snow melting" landscape sketches. At present, relying on the already built Alpine Ski Track, Training Trail, Technical Road and Huicun Ski Trail connected to the Winter Olympic Village, the 220,000-square-meter Volkswagen Snow Field is under planning and construction and will be completed by the end of 2022 to provide high-quality venues for Public Ski enthusiasts.
