Nandu News Reporter Xia Jiawen In order to let the citizens and tourists stay in the new year, Pearl River Park has planned a series of special activities for the New Year that focus on intangible cultural heritage during the Spring Festival, with high standards, strong New Year flavor and festive enough.

From the first day of the Chinese New Year to the third day of the Chinese New Year, from 10:00 to 17:00, the Pearl River Park Intangible Cultural and Creative Characteristics Cultural Market will open in the Grand Stage Square. Led by Liang Yuxiong, a provincial non-hereditary inheritor of Guangzhou jade carving, Yu Zhaoji, a provincial non-hereditary inheritor of Yu Tong (wood carving), and Liu Zhanzu, a provincial non-hereditary inheritor of Chinese sugar painting, a total of 8 teachers and other non-hereditary inheritors demonstrated their intangible cultural heritage skills on the spot for three consecutive days. During the Intangible Cultural heritage cultural fair, there will also be lion awakenings, street dances and magic pop-up performances.

Chinese sugar paintings are being produced.

In order to reflect the effect of inheriting excellent traditional culture, Chinese bronze seal, Guangzhou jade carving, Guangzhou finger painting and waking lion cultural creation will receive on-site guidance experience from 3 people every day at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 every day during the exhibition period. Citizens and visitors can make an appointment with volunteers on site on a first-come, first-served basis.

Intangible Cultural and Creative Characteristics Cultural Bazaar Performance Arrangements.

The Pearl River Park Bay Area Book House exhibits a woodblock new year painting of Foshan, which is known as the "wonder of traditional folk culture in Lingnan". As one of the first to be included in the national intangible cultural heritage list, Foshan woodblock prints were once a must-have for every household in the Pearl River Delta.

This exhibition is the "Resurrection of the Gods" woodblock new year painting series given by Liu Zhongping, a municipal non-hereditary heir of Foshan woodblock prints, and a series of zodiac themes that are very festive. Public visitors can enjoy traditional New Year paintings with the theme of "Door God, Examination God, Joy God, God of Wealth and Ding God", five gods who often appear in New Year paintings, as well as a series of Zodiac New Year paintings with "Xiangrui FuHu" as the main theme. It will be on display until February 10.

In the shade shed entrance corridor, green island and other areas, Pearl River Park has set up a group of flower boxes, wooden grilles, rattan handicrafts and other structures, with the technique of floral art + flower arrangement, embellishment and arrangement of phalaenopsis orchids, dancing orchids, Wenxin orchids, Ruyi and other seasonal flowers, to create exquisite and elegant flower viewing points.
