The evil dream is an auspicious omen

On the Internet, there is an ancient best-selling book "Ming Zhuangyuan Tu kao", which records 76 people from Hongwu 4th to 35th wanli, painted separately, and later had a small biography for the scholars at that time to worship, quite a bit of "you look at the children next door" feeling. Interestingly, it depicts a scene of a dream when the party is not in the middle of the yuan, and then reports that the test is not happy.

The Zhejiang Chun'an people of the Orthodox Decade were discussing, and his dream was very interesting, saying:

In the same school as his teacher Hong Shizhi, Ren Meng had the first three stones of the person to teach him, Jue and Yu Hong, Hong Yue: "Ji Mengye." "The latter three elements should be.

Yuan, human head also, three human heads mean three yuan and the first.

The evil dream is an auspicious omen

* * *

The bloody scenes turned out to be a harbinger of a better future. Therefore, the art of dream-divination can be described as broad and profound. The auspiciousness of dreams is probably not related to the actual results of the auspiciousness, and sometimes the evil dreams are auspicious. The principle of all this is probably nothing more than the so-called all is well that ends well.

There is also a famous dream in the "Zuo Biography", saying that before the Battle of Chengpu in Jinchu, the Marquis of Jin dreamed that he was fighting with Chuzi, and the monarch of the State of Chu beat him to the ground and knocked him out of his brain shell to suck his brain juice. The Marquis of Jin was worried, but the chancellor told him that this was an auspicious omen, indicating "Chu Fu's sin, I am gentle."

How did being sucked into the brain become "soft"? Ancient commentators here felt that their intelligence was not enough, and finally came up with a fairly passable statement, saying that the ancients believed that the brain was hidden in the yin and had soft characteristics, so the "Book of Rites and Internal Rules" stipulated that people should abstain from eating pig brains, otherwise they were easily weak and weak, and the pig brain could be used as tanning to make the animal skin soft. Doesn't that make sense! As for whether Jin Hou would ask, "Are you saying I'm a pig brain?" Such questions are not in the scope of the dreamer's consideration.

Oh yes, the result of the Battle of Chengpu was naturally that the Jin State won.

Earlier, I read a cultural anthropology article saying that it was necessary to share the dream of kings with the group, which is a kind of primitive thinking, and I think it is very reasonable. Poetry? Lesser? The First Moon: "Summoning the old man, the dream of the news." Zheng Xuanji: "Summoning him does not ask about political affairs, but asks Zhan Meng, not yet moral and trustworthy." It can be said that I can't understand the original thinking.

And the Zhou people have dreamers within the system, at least in the "Zhou Li". There are taibu palm three dreams of the method, one to the dream, two to the dream, three to the salty, and there are aspirant dreams for one official, with the sun, moon and stars to occupy the six dreams of the auspicious, righteous, yue, yue, yue, yue, Very mysterious.

This righteousness, thought, and joy are probably auspicious dreams, and nightmares, sorrows, and fears are fierce dreams. In the "Zuo Biography", "Zhuang GongYusheng, Shocking Jiang's Family", in addition to being born when sleeping (Du pre-note) and dystocia (Yang Bojun's note), it seems that it can also be interpreted as Jiang's nightmare before giving birth. However, zhuang gong and jiang clan seemed to have no danger in their lives. Yi Zhou Shu? In the "寤儆", the King of Zhou said, "Whoops, whoops! Now there is a business surprise. Kong Chao's note: "Dreams are cut down by the silk, so I am shocked." This is also a good omen for the evil dream.

The art of dream-telling, in this way, can be described as indiscriminate. Song Qin rethinked the "Records of the Luo Zhongji" containing Tang Gaozu's nightmares:

When Tang Gaozu first started his army, he dreamed of dying under the bed, being eaten by maggots, and his heart was very evil. Zen Master Zhiman he said, "Death is death, falling into bed is underneath, maggots are attached to billions of trillions, but Your Majesty is attached to all the people!" ”

Here the interpretation of dreams uses a harmonic stem, which can be described as Bu Fang's uncertainty and Bu Li Qianming, deconstructing and corrupting the serious science of divination in the original ideal, so historians have examined that after the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was basically no role such as the royal dream official.
