Beijing, January 28 (China News Network) -- On the 28th, the "spiritual homeland of the global Chinese people" - the key program list of the 2022 Chinese Global Program Center of The Central Radio and Television Corporation was released in Beijing.
The release activities are divided into four major sections: "Chinese Pride", "Common Memory", "Great Beauty Culture" and "Four Seas and One Heart", with the purpose of "inheriting Chinese civilization and serving the Chinese people around the world", and focusing on 20 Chinese high-quality programs to audiences at home and abroad.
In the "Pride of China" section, 3 new programs were released. The 50-episode series "China in the New Era" reflects the historic achievements of China's economic and social development since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China by recording the changes in the daily lives of the people. The large-scale media program "Roots" deeply interprets the spiritual genealogy of the Communist Party of China, carries forward the great spirit of party building, and reflects the unremitting pursuit of "everything for the people" of generations of communists.
The documentary "Symbol of the Republic" vividly tells the touching story behind the design of the national flag, national emblem and other symbols representing the national image, making the symbol of the republic become the spiritual force of the sons and daughters of China in the new era to enhance national consciousness and strengthen cultural self-confidence. Fan Di'an, chairman of the China Artists Association and president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Wang Yingsheng, professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, shared their feelings about participating in the creation of the program as guests, hoping that the film would enable the younger generation to recognize the rich connotation of the symbol of the Republic.
In the "Common Memory" section, 3 documentaries were released. This year coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Yan'an Literary and Art Forum and the 30th anniversary of the "1992 Consensus" between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The documentary "The Lighthouse" comprehensively reviews the historical background of the Yan'an Literary and Art Forum from a new perspective, and looks into the literary and artistic soul of the Chinese Communists during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The documentary "The Historical Truth of the '1992 Consensus'" uses detailed historical materials to illustrate the historical inevitability of the eventual reunification of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Last year's documentary "Absolute Pen", which triggered a warm response from the society, will launch a second season during the Qingming Festival. Through innovative visual presentation, the film allows the martyrs' dying pens to travel back and forth between history and reality, leading the audience to relive their faith and draw on the strength to move forward. Descendants of revolutionary pioneers, Li Jiansheng, grandson of Li Dazhao, and Cai Ning, grandson of Cai Hesen, also talked about the significance of launching the second season of "Absolute Pen" at the scene.
In the "Damei Culture" section, 9 original boutique programs appeared one by one, making tradition more "alive" and culture more "fire". The "Chinese Archaeological Conference" unlocks the archaeological code, explores the Chinese civilization, relies on the technological innovation of the General Station, and makes the heritage displayed on the vast land "alive" by means of space exploration and time and space travel. Liu Guoxiang, researcher of the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and deputy director of the Public Archaeology Center, as a guest of honor, shared the important role played by the Chinese Archaeological Congress in displaying Chinese archaeological achievements and inheriting and promoting Chinese civilization.

Since 2021, 82% of the 17 Chinese channels in North America of the Great Wall Platform have chosen to watch Chinese international channels.
