The five continents dance together, and you chase me to catch up with the world!

This is a children's song, the theme song of the documentary "Great Powers".

The songwriter is Jiang Shiming, the producer of the documentary, and the composer is Lu Yuan, a famous composer of the older generation in China.

Mr. Jiang Shiming, in 1996, founded the "China Financial Report" column, which is the most vital professional financial column of CCTV, and also the longest-lasting TV financial column of China's television media, which has been broadcast for up to 25 years.

Jiang Shiming is not only a veteran TV personality, an industry research expert, but also a poet and lyricist. He has written theme songs for many media cultural events, and has also written widely circulated songs for many singers who are active on stage.

In July 2013, as the production of "Great Powers and Heavy Weapons" came to an end, as the first industrial documentary, it really needed a theme song to promote the great working class and technological creators.

Teacher Jiang, you write a theme song for "Big Overweight", after reporting on the progress of the film, I made a request to Teacher Jiang.

Teacher Jiang sighed for a moment and said, Yes. But don't worry, it's a big deal, let me think about it.

Two months later, Teacher Jiang told me that I wanted to write a children's song, what do you think?

My intuition told me that it was a bold and novel idea, and the meaning was profound.

I said, Teacher Jiang, heavy equipment with children's songs, this idea is beyond imagination, must be a different theme song.

Half a month later, a children's song called "Tiangong Kaiwu" appeared in my WeChat, which is the lyrics of the theme song of "Big Country Heavy Equipment".

At that time, the director of the crew and I were indescribably excited, which was simply a natural sound connecting ancient and modern times.

Teacher Jiang also sent the lyrics to Dandong fellow, the famous composer Lu Yuan, did not expect that Mr. Lu Yuan, who has always been known as a good melody composer, quickly sent a message saying that the lyrics are too good, I am willing to compose music for it.

Lü Yuan, a famous Chinese songwriter, is 92 years old this year and was the artistic director of the Haizheng Song and Dance Troupe. In his 70-year career, he has composed more than 1,000 songs, more than 100 operas, stage plays and film and television music.

"The Song of Karamay", "Walking on this High Xing'an Ridge", "Spring Water Jingle", "Song of Peony", "Our Life Is Full of Sunshine" and other popular masterpieces have been handed down to this day.

In my understanding of composers, some composers are talented people, and the beautiful melody is the natural sound they leave for the world, Mr. Lu Yuan is undoubtedly one of the brightest stars among the Chinese composers.

Half a month later, Teacher Jiang suddenly called me and said, at noon you rushed to the Media Hotel, And Elder Lu finished recording the theme song of "Big Country Heavy Equipment", and today he took a sample for us to listen to.

Near 12 o'clock, I hurried to the restaurant on the first floor of the Media Hotel, where Teacher Jiang and another colleague of the column were already waiting.

Until about 1:30, Mr. Lu Yuan, who is more than 80 years old, and his assistant also hurried into the restaurant on the first floor, saw us coming over, and was busy apologizing.

After taking a seat, the old man explained the original commission. It turned out that there were some flaws in the recording, and they went back to the studio to make changes, so they delayed the time.

Teacher Jiang said, Elder Lu, you have worked hard, let's eat first.

There is no hurry to eat, you listen to the song first.

With that, the old man took out a Walkman, headphones and a CD disk from his bag and handed them to Teacher Jiang. Putting on the headphones, Teacher Jiang immersed herself in children's recitations, choruses, and increasingly passionate singing.

My colleagues and I, and then took turns hearing this richly layered, melodic, emotionally full of emotions, almost natural theme song.

Mr. Lu asked, how is it? We said almost at the same time, great!

The singing recording of this song gathers the top musicians and singers in China. They are: The Central Youth Radio Choir, the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the China Symphony Orchestra Choir, and the Tenor Tian Yi of the Air Politics Song and Dance Troupe.

The old man went on to say, "If you think it's good, use it, and if you think it doesn't work, don't use it." I don't take any of the remuneration for composing music.

As a famous composer, Mr. Lu Yuan, I have always been revered by the mountains all my life, and I did not expect to have the honor of meeting, but it was actually composed for our documentary, and I got such a deep love, and the gratitude in my heart is beyond words.

Lu Yuan, a famous Chinese composer, was interviewed by a CCTV reporter

This year, Mr. Lu Yuan is 92 years old, but he is still sharp and cheerful. I wish the old gentleman good health and a happy life.

In the Year of the Tiger, Jiang Shiming, as the pioneer of the column and the forerunner of industrial documentaries, is about to retire, but the creation of industrial documentaries is booming.

Now, the colleagues of the column have become the TV people who are the general director of the documentary, and the industrial documentary is still their strength, which cannot but be said to be a legend in the Chinese television industry.

In the nine years after the broadcast of "Big Country Heavy Weapon", they successively launched the second and third seasons of "Big Country Heavy Weapon", and also produced five documentaries reflecting the achievements of reform and opening up, most of which were mainly based on industrial themes.

Especially this year, the financial channel has launched a new documentary list, of which three works titled "large-scale industrial documentaries" are being produced.

It can be said that "industrial documentary" has become a documentary variety that has been fixed.

As an indiscriminate industrial documentary, the creation and broadcast of "The Heavy Weapon of a Big Country" was already ten years ago. Nowadays, industrial documentaries are a great sight, which is a blessing!

The most gratifying thing is that generations of industrial manufacturers have continuously promoted the strength of the country and the prosperity of the nation, and have become an inexhaustible driving force for passing on the torch.

Here is the opening sentence of "Great Powers" as the closing sentence of this article:

We manufacture, drive prosperity and growth;

We create, towards self-reliance and strength;

Let's move forward and make dreams come true!
