The Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala was initiated in January 2016 by Mr. Tan Wuchang, a well-known poetry critic and director of the Center for The Study of Contemporary Chinese New Poetry at Beijing Normal University. With the purpose of academic, pure, artistic, public welfare and internationality, the Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala aims to launch outstanding Chinese poets at home and abroad, which can be called an annual poetry art feast dedicated to Chinese people around the world, highlighting China's cultural self-confidence as a traditional poetry country. The first three sessions of the Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala were successfully held at Peking University, the fourth session was successfully held at the National Library, the fifth session was successfully recorded by China Education Television, and the 6th Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala in 2022 was co-organized by the Research Center for Contemporary Chinese New Poetry of Beijing Normal University and Beijing Radio and Television Station, and broadcast on 15:40 on February 6, 2022 on the BRTV Literary and Art Channel of Beijing Satellite TV.

Sheng Huahou, male, zi yue, a native of Xiajin County, Shandong, a young painter and poet, graduated from the School of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and was tutored by Professor Bi Jianxun. Executive Director of Beijing Tandu Calligraphy and Painting Institute. He is the author of the poetry collection "Silent Reading", the poetry collection "Lhasa Goddess" (Qiongji Shishenghua Hou Painting), the painting collection "Sheng Hua Hou Works Collection", and the painting collection "Sheng Hua Hou Works Collection", which won the Peking University Unnamed Poetry Award, the Chinese Young Poet Award, and the Boao International Poetry Award. The thirteenth generation of Chen-style Taijiquan, the disciple of Mr. Qi Heping, a famous Taiji master, and the national champion of Chen-style Taijiquan. In 2014, he was named one of the 50 outstanding young people in Sino-Russian cultural exchanges, and his personal deeds were made into a movie "Because of You" and a documentary "Young Painter Sheng Huahou" which was broadcast on Russian State Radio 2 and China CCTV. He has recorded TV interview programs such as "Eight Zero Online: Shenghua Hou Plays Through with Art" and "Focus on Famous Artists: Sheng Hua Hou - Artists from Many Aspects". He has given many cultural lectures at the Central University of Finance and Economics and the China University of Political Science and Law. In 2018, he was awarded the "Top Ten Artists of Sino-European Cultural Exchange". In 2019, he was invited to participate in the Lermontov International Art Festival in Russia. He currently resides in Beijing.
