In 2019, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Tan Tan and Shui Yunxian drove hundreds of miles to Changde Shimen to visit a private library and donate books to show our respect.
China's private collection of books, from the Spring and Autumn Period, Qin and Han to the present, has gone through thousands of years, with endless strings and songs, and has been passed down from generation to generation, which is an important channel for the continuation of Chinese civilization.
Driving through the land, the autumn sun is still fierce, and I have all kinds of speculations about the Yixingge Academy that I am about to meet.
Standing in front of the door of Yi Xuan Ge Academy, gazing at the article written by The local poet Zhang Tianfu of Shimen and the Taoyuan scholar Zhang Xiliang on the "Yi Yi Ge Fu", he couldn't help but shake his heart and send out a sigh of admiration from the bottom of his heart. Magnificent Si Lou!
I can't help but think of the scene many years ago when I visited the Eryoushan Library Cave in Yuanling. For the sake of one of the most sacred, noble, and beautiful legends, braving the sweltering heat, climbing along the ladder-like steps and rugged mountain paths, just to see the small cave that is filled with the smoke of history. Mr. and Mrs. Li Yuanluo, who are more than a year old, also tried their best to persuade the crowd and tenaciously reached the top. At the entrance of the cave where the book has the character "Ancient Library", we fold our hands together, burn a heart incense, and worship this sacred place of Chinese civilization. The cave has been empty as a valley, and the scriptures of the famous mountains have disappeared, leaving only the poetic ink that posterity has coiled here. Whether it is the Legendary Wuling People's Good Scrolls hidden here, or the Confucians who traveled thousands of miles to avoid the scourge of "burning books" during the Qin Dynasty and were able to preserve the classics, although there is no history of faith to prove, I am still willing to believe that they are the embodiment of our national spirit.
It was in the association of thousands of years that I stepped into the door of Yi Ling Ge College. When we walked down the steps, floor by floor, to visit the seven-story library, we exclaimed and were shocked!
Not only the magnificence of the building, not only the preciousness of the bookshelf, but also the modernity of management. And it is surprising that its collection of books is more than 450,000 volumes, and there is no one in the current Chinese folk collection. And in the collection of books, historical classics, heirloom collections, rare books, genealogical threads, full of treasures. In the current Chinese folk collection, it can also be called unparalleled for a while.
In the reading room on the first floor, any reader can borrow books for free, and also opened a blind reading room, a psychological treatment room, and all public welfare.
At the top of the library building, I looked at the far side of the xuan, not far away is the county seat of Shimen County, a mountain city located in the northwest of Hunan Province, surrounded by water, beautiful and idyllic. Yixingge Academy is located in Gaoping Village, Yijiadu Town, 6 kilometers from the county seat.
The legend of this library building is due to a beautiful marriage, the landlord and Yi's wife Qingmei Bamboo Horse, from primary school to junior high school, high school, university window for ten years, and finally became a family, since then, the Yi family has embarked on a road of collecting books like a father chasing the sun. In the 40 years of reform and opening up, we have witnessed the arduous, dedicated, and unremitting collection process of these two families. Gaoyi two families, have a solid family situation, have a good business, especially have an enlightened state of mind, the two families pour out their possessions, pour their best to complete the landlord's dream of pursuing. This can't help but remind people of what Mr. Lu Xun said: "Since ancient times, we have had people who have buried their heads in hard work, people who have worked hard, people who have asked for the people's lives, and people who have sacrificed their lives to seek the law... This is the backbone of China. ”
A kind of feeling, a kind of responsibility, a kind of dedication, a kind of pursuit, in today's surging economic tide, how precious. Books, the carrier of culture, it is precisely because the Chinese nation has many people who have written, collected, taught, read, and loved books that it is possible for our culture to endure wind, frost, snow, rain, stormy waves, thunder and lightning, and landslides without destruction.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in the midst of the vast sea of books in YixuanGe, I deeply feel that it has witnessed the growing history of the motherland from another angle with a kind of great power of the people, the collection of books in a prosperous world, and the prosperous atmosphere, which is not only a manifestation of financial resources, but also reflects a kind of open-mindedness, showing the vision of our nation, the hope of the nation, and the prospects of the nation.
Autumn, is the season of fruit ripening, Shimen orange is wafting with a strong fruit fragrance, but in this thick fragrance, but I clearly feel another special fragrance, it wafts from the Yixuange Academy, for a long time, straight into the heart, at this most beautiful moment, I am willing to dedicate this most beautiful fragrance to the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China. May she always be young and always healthy.
