Singer Luo Changjiang

Text/Liang Ruichen

There was once a brother who loved to drink three or five glasses of old wine, so he was bold and bold, and actually wanted to edit his album called "Drinker So-and-So".

The editor-in-chief was stunned and speechless for a moment. "The sages of ancient times were lonely, but the drinker kept his name." Can the drinker here be literally interpreted as a drinker? Everyone knows that in Li Bai's heart, this drinker, above the sages, can be called a drinker, qualified enough, that is himself. "Li Baidou wine hundred poems, the son of heaven called not to the ship." A poet who dared to be uninhibited in front of the emperor and did not even wear shoes, He Zhizhang was shocked as an immortal, and he crowned himself only with a "drinker" hat.

But I want to give the singer's laurels to Brother Yangtze. Attention officials, this is by no means a blow to each other and a cheap gift.

On my desk is brother Yangtze River's five-volume "Five Parts of the Earth", a brick-like imperial masterpiece, which is unique in the history of prose and poetry.

I am a person outside the road in the commentary, not to mention that the "Five Parts of the Earth" has a commentary big guy lined up in unison, holding the knife of The Ding Ding to solve the cattle, holding the pen of Cui Hao's inscription poem, dissecting and analyzing it, which is already a fine discussion inside the door. And I can only be outside the door, with feelings, by people and texts, talking about things inside and outside the book.

Brother Yangjiang and I met in the early 1990s. At that time, Zhangjiajie's reputation was long, the number of seekers soared, and the literati were even more eager, such mountains and rivers, if you don't see fangrong, don't you have a negative life?

Every time I went to Zhangjiajie to accompany guests, I called brother Yangtze and asked him to discuss various affairs. The acquaintance of man is the fit of the heart. He is the kind of person who is serious about everything and has a lot of promises. I am in harmony with him, in all things, all because of the unity of character. Some friends also asked, how is Luo Changjiang? I replied without hesitation: Reliable!

This reliable person also has a very lively and cheerful side. I remember once we climbed the Huangshi Village in Zhangjiajie, and when the sweat was pouring, he was full of excitement, poetry, and singing folk songs loudly. In addition to the mulberry folk song of "The Lampstand on the Horse Mulberry Tree", there is a folk song that left a deep impression on me: one egg and two yellow, one lover and two langs, one in front of the sweeping water, and one in the back to cover the sun. After the song, he clapped his hands and shouted, he laughed, and said with infinite emotion, Look! How bold and straightforward is the pursuit of love in folk songs. Especially challenging male power, not afraid of worldly views, only in folk songs can be found!

If there were no zhangjiajie, an unparalleled landscape in the world, and if there were no rough and simple folk customs in Zhangjiajie (including the great Xiangxi), would luo Changjiang's "Five Steps to the Earth" be produced?

He, walking on this beautiful land and the people's pure land, he wanted to express his deep love for this land and the people, and he found the best form of expression to complete the magnificent narrative and strong lyricism. He made the most affectionate tribute to the earth with free-spirited, ups and downs, wide open and closed, and reverberating prose poems!

No matter what kind of commentary scholars make on the "Earth Five Parts", with my most straightforward impression of it, it sings the most primitive, bloody, stubborn, most authentic, and most pale human nature of The Great Xiangxi. He sang about the endless life of all things and the metabolism of human beings on this earth. He praised their great creativity, tenacious transformation, unremitting pursuit, and strong resistance. At the same time, he was also dissected mercilessly the inferiority of the people, so that the whole text had both the brilliance of praise and the depth of analysis.

If Lu Xun's "Wild Grass" is just a long song with unrestrained feelings, it lacks the shout of a shotgun. Then "Weeds" will be greatly reduced in strength and depth. The same is true of Brother Yangtze's "Five Steps to the Earth", when the poet loudly praises the rapid changes in the land under his feet in the prosperous world, he also shows all kinds of uneasiness and melancholy. He is particularly reflected in his thinking on cultural preservation. In development and inheritance, development and protection, abandonment and inheritance, history and today... They all put deep thinking in the lines of poetry. The deeper the love, the greater the responsibility. This is Qu Yuan, Lu Xun's home-country feelings, and it is this feeling that "The Five Steps of the Earth" is not only full of warm beauty everywhere, but also reveals a kind of cold beauty.

Of course, the main color is warm and strong, which is the same frequency resonance with this era, parallel and not contradictory. If we turn a blind eye when we are in the midst of a prosperous world and live in a great era, this is the eye of the problem, you cannot see the essence of this era, you cannot see the mainstream of the rolling torrent of mud and sand. The times are not wrong, but our eyes are wrong, this is a song of betrayal of the truth, this is the sorrow of a singer. I thought that Brother YangJiang had a pair of wise eyes, he always stood on the stand of the people, to examine the history and the past, to observe the present and the present, to think about the future and the future. I thought that was the core essence of the Earth Penta. This is not an arbitrary elevation, but the result of my reading of the entire text. It is this result that gives me a preliminary understanding that the "Five Parts of the Earth" has a certain quality of epic, not because of the length of the poem, but because it essentially expresses a certain period of life of the various ethnic groups in western Hunan and provides us with a regional history to observe. Of course, this kind of history is literary, prose poetic. It can stir our hearts and give us the wings of an incomparably rich imagination.

I have always slandered the fragmentation of works, and those fragmented statements that like to analyze works can be a kind of destroyer of great beauty. Think about the old private school, Mr. shaking his head and shaking his head in recitation, students reciting step by step, this old education method, this kind of recitation that does not seek much understanding, actually produced a lot of Chinese studies masters? Isn't there something to learn from? "Familiar with the three poems of Tang Dynasty, you can't chant poems but also chant." In today's era of cultural fast food, it is not easy to calm down and read this five-volume million-word masterpiece. But I would like to advise you that not only are you a lover of prose poetry, any reader, reading the original text, is the most reliable way, in this land written by Brother Yangtze River, you can get involved in the search, you can get a glimpse of the beauty of art, you can glimpse the wonders of the Great Xiangxi, you can peek into the secret history of some nationalities, you can touch the souls of some characters in the sky and on the ground.

The singer Luo Changjiang is the son of Xuefeng Mountain. This mountain where Qu Zi ascended oh yong is a mountain of culture. This mountain that once made the invaders bow their heads is even more a mountain of heroes. Brother Yangtze River accompanied him around, ten years of grinding a sword, the achievement of the "Five Steps of the Earth", I want to call it Luo Yangtze River's sword-casting mountain.
