A few days ago, J.D. Power released the U.S. electric vehicle owner satisfaction survey report, Tesla also became the biggest winner, in the luxury electric vehicle camp, satisfaction ranked first.
The report shows that among luxury car models, tesla model 3 owners have a satisfaction rating of 777 points (out of 1000 points), ranking first in the list.
The Tesla Model Y followed, coming in second with 770 points, which was also the average for the luxury car camp.
As for the Model S, its performance was not particularly prominent, with 756 points, better than the Audi E-Tron's 718 points. No other luxury car models were announced in the list, and neither did the Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-Benz EQC appear on the list.
Among the mainstream models, the Kia Niro electric car performed the best, with a score of 744 points, ranking first on the list, followed by Ford "electric Mustang Mach-E". The mainstream electric car camp had an average score of 709 points, the Nissan Leaf scored 1 point below average at 708 points, and the Chevrolet Bolt scored only 687 points due to consecutive recalls.

The report also found that many people have already started to consider buying an electric car, or have already bought it, because the newly listed electric vehicle has a greater range. Car owners believe that this is the top reason for buying in the luxury and ordinary electric vehicle segments, accounting for 86% and 87% respectively.
Compared with fuel vehicles, when car owners believe that the mileage of pure electric vehicles never affects driving habits, the satisfaction of the luxury market segment increased by 119 points, while the satisfaction of the general market increased by 107 points.
In addition, an important conclusion of the report is that lowering the price of new electric vehicles and making subsidies easily accessible also helps to improve owner satisfaction.
More than two-thirds (68%) of EV owners received a purchase post, with a car (760) that found the patch easy to get the post (760) higher overall satisfaction than the car owner who thought the patch was a little/very difficult to get (712).
