Yesterday morning, the first floor of the Newspaper Building was full of ink and blessings, and the annual handwritten Spring Festival blessing activity was held lively. The event has been held for 12 consecutive years, this year's theme is "Tiggo Welcomes the New Year and Sends Good Luck", 12 old and young calligraphers splashed ink on the spot, sending out the newspaper's strong friendship to public readers. On the day of the event, nearly 1,000 pairs of Spring League and Fuzi were sent.
The event was sponsored by this newspaper, co-organized by Xiamen Daily Literary Association, Xiamen Daily Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and hosted by Xiamen Daily New Media Center and Xiamen New Media Communication Co., Ltd. The Municipal Association also provided nearly 100 newly created Pairs of Nongyin Spring Leagues for the event to be selected by public readers and handwritten by calligraphers.
Calligraphy masters appear in unison different styles to meet different needs
Ye Shaolin, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and president of the Xiamen Daily Calligraphy and Painting Institute, attracted fans to enthusiastically cheer as soon as he appeared on the scene. Some citizens specially brought fans in the morning and asked him to write the inscription "Yundang Fishing Fire Tiger Creek Night Moon" for the fan, which was reserved as a souvenir for the collection. Veteran media personality Cai Yuqiang is the "full attendance student" of the event, and since the event was held in 2011, he has not been left behind. Ms. Li, a citizen, has participated in the activities for many years and has sought out Cai Yuqiang's handwritten Spring Festival. "Teacher Cai's blessing word Spring League is pasted on the home, just like the New Year!" Ms. Li said with a smile that Cai Yuqiang deliberately left an autograph next to the Fuzi to thank the readers for their warm love.
The event also provides a platform for calligraphers to communicate. The same preference is to write the Chunlian Fu characters, Cai Yuqiang's characters are steady, thick, mature and timeless, and the pen of Wang Jiazhi, a member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association, is flying and flowing, light and elegant. One old and one young, the words in the pen show a completely different style and rhyme. One of the Wang family wrote the Spring League Fu character while observing the strokes and paintings of the predecessors. "Tools are one of the reasons why words are different, I like to write with a long-edged brush, which can show richer changes, and the brush used by Teacher Cai is shorter and the brushwork is more solid." He said that different words just meet the different preferences and needs of citizens.

The font content is eclectic, and tailoring it for public readers is one of the highlights of the event. A small piece of red paper is filled with the whimsy of public readers and calligraphers, some of them combine "like a tiger adding wings" into one word to show their grand ambitions, and some of them embed the tiger head of "Cute Da" into the fu character to convey the innocence and childlike fun.
9-year-old Huang Lingsen and her mother worked together, she was responsible for queuing up to ask the calligrapher to write, and her mother guarded the work, waiting for the ink to dry out. After a long wait, Huang Lingsen finally lined up in front of Huang Wenjie, chairman of the Xiamen Daily Literary Association, and she immediately revealed that the Spring League, which she had long thought of, "good luck in all seasons of the year, and treasures from all directions entering the house", and the horizontal batch was "auspicious star high light". "Choosing this pair of Spring League, I thought that I could collect more red envelopes for the New Year!" Huang Lingsen said triumphantly, and his mother smiled and answered: "It is not the same printed body on the market, the handwritten Spring League is more auspicious, and your wish will definitely be fulfilled!"
Mr. Fang from Anhui brought his own original Spring League. "My surname is Fang, my lover's surname is Wang, and now she is outside the Lord, inside my Lord, and the Spring League is embedded in the surnames of both of us, although the Ping Gong is not necessarily neat and tidy, but this Pair of Spring Leagues holds my wish for a happy family in the new year."
