The Volkswagen Zwickau plant paved the way for the Volkswagen Group's electrification goals, which took 26 months to complete the transformation and has now produced six all-electric models with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units. In 2022, Volkswagen is expected to produce a total of about 1.2 million new vehicles based on the MEB platform in Europe, the United States, and China.
