It is worth noting that the solid-state battery equipped with the new dongfeng Fengshen E70 is actually a primary version of the solid-state battery, because this solid-state battery uses solid-state flexible separator technology. Although there is a diaphragm, compared with the more familiar lithium-ion battery, the lithium-ion battery first uses an organic solvent electrolyte, the electrolyte may leak, and the organic solvent may evaporate at high temperatures, which may cause combustion and explosion accidents.

This kind of solid-state battery with an isolation layer is also called a quasi-solid-state battery, and only those without an isolation layer can be called an all-solid-state battery. At present, the mainland research and development and production is a quasi-solid-state battery, which is a battery with a similar structure and principle to lithium-ion batteries, and the Dongfeng Fengshen E70 also uses this quasi-solid-state battery. Compared with the current lithium-ion battery, the solid-state battery can only eliminate the corrosion and safety hazards caused by the electrolyte on the basis of the lithium-ion battery, and the service life is expected to be longer, but this does not mean that the solid-state battery can solve all the problems existing in the lithium battery.
