On January 21, 2022, Landu Automobile announced that the 10,000th Landu FREE was officially rolled off the production line. It is reported that Lantu FREE was officially listed in June 2021, the first car rolled off the production line on June 30, and the delivery began on August 8 of the same year.
Landu FREE positioning a medium and large luxury sports SUV, the new car emphasizes the longitudinal and horizontal visual effects, while using a lot of chrome decoration in the appearance, with a dense multi-spoke large size rim, luxury and grade sense is not bad.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a full LCD dashboard, a central control multimedia display, and an additional multimedia display screen connected to the through-channel triple screen design, and the overall connected screen can also be automatically raised and lowered according to different driving modes in the central control, which is very highly scientific and technological.
Last month, Landu FREE also ushered in the first vehicle remote upgrade (OTA), which means that Landu FREE can continuously evolve the functional experience of software and hardware, and become smarter and better. The upgrade content includes more than 60 vehicle upgrades, strong perception high frequency classes, and safety upgrades.
In terms of power, Landu FREE has two power forms, range extender and pure electric, the extended range is front and rear dual motors, the comprehensive power is 510 kilowatts, the peak torque is 1040 Nm; the pure electric model is equipped with a front-drive motor, with a maximum power of 255 kW and a peak torque of 520 Nm.
It is reported that Lantu Automobile announced that it delivered 3330 Lantu FREE vehicles in December, an increase of 192% month-on-month, becoming the fastest new brand of electric vehicles to achieve more than 3,000 deliveries in a single month. Since the start of delivery, Landu has achieved a month-on-month increase for five consecutive months, with a total of 6791 Landu FREE deliveries.
In the future, Lantu Automobile plans to release at least one new car to the market every year, and in the next 5 years, Lantu Automobile will cover multiple market segments such as cars, SUVs, AND MPVs, thereby expanding its product camp.
