Regarding the Qinling National Park, the Reporter of Huashang Daily learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Forestry Bureau that at present, the creation of the Qinling National Park has been officially approved by the National Park Administration, and it is agreed that Shaanxi will create the Qinling National Park, and the core resources of the Qinling Mountains will be completely protected.

Qinling Mountains have typical northern subtropical and warm temperate transition characteristic ecosystems and obvious vertical band spectrum, preserving many ancient, rare and endemic wild animal and plant species, with outstanding national representation. The establishment of Qinling National Park is of great significance to maintaining the balance of the natural ecosystem of the north-south dividing line of the mainland, protecting the central water tower, and building a solid ecological security barrier in the mainland's geography.

At present, in accordance with the requirements of the establishment, Shaanxi is promoting key work, including scientifically determining the boundaries and zoning; orderly mediating contradictions and conflicts; proposing a management agency setting plan; strengthening ecological protection and restoration; promoting community transformation and development; and strengthening publicity and social consensus. The National Park Administration will also work with Shaanxi to establish a coordination and promotion mechanism for the provincial joint meeting of the bureau, actively coordinate relevant departments, and give preferential support in relevant policies, capital projects and technical support to promote the creation of Qinling National Park.

From December 5, 2021, the qinling national park logo design is open to the public, and the collection period is closed on February 28, 2022.

The total area of the Shaanxi area of the Giant Panda National Park is 9772.3 hectares

Regarding the Giant Panda National Park, the Huashang Daily reporter learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Forestry Bureau that the Giant Panda National Park spans Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, with a protection area of 22,000 square kilometers, is a concentrated distribution area and main breeding habitat for wild giant pandas, and protects more than 70% of the country's wild giant pandas. The park is rich in biodiversity and has a unique natural and cultural landscape, which is a demonstration area for biodiversity conservation, a pioneer area for the realization of ecological values and a model for ecological education in the world.

Among them, the Shaanxi area of the Giant Panda National Park is located at the intersection of Qinling and Minshan at the junction of Shaanxi, Sichuan and Gansu provinces, within the territory of Qingmuchuan Town, Ningqiang County, Shaanxi Province, the northern end is bordered with Wudu County, Gansu, the western end is bordered by Ridge Ridge Red Rock, Banbanqiao and Sichuan Qingchuan County, the eastern part is bounded by the triangle stone of Yuquanba Village, and the south is Changshaba Village, with a width of 11.5 kilometers from north to south, 16.8 kilometers from east to west, and a total area of 9772.3 hectares.

The Shaanxi area of the Giant Panda National Park is located on the dividing line between the Palearctic and Eastern Ocean boundaries of the zoogeographic fauna, which belongs to the typical northern subtropical climate, with rich biodiversity and unique natural and cultural landscapes. According to the 2019 survey, there are 342 species in the region, including giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, antelopes and other wild vertebrates in 7 orders, 26 families, 56 genera. Among them, there are 10 species of national grade I key protected animals and 41 species of national grade II key protected animals. Compared with the 2004 survey record, the total number of vertebrate species increased by 84 species, an increase of 32.56%. Among them, the increase rate of fish reached 114.29%, and the number of birds increased by 55 species. There are 173 families, 732 genera and 1598 species of vascular plants in the area, rich plant species and well-developed vegetation provide the best habitat and breeding place for wild animals, large areas of arrow bamboo, wood bamboo and deciduous broad-leaved tree species, as well as bamboo resources such as golden bamboo and thorn bamboo, providing a stable and rich food source for giant pandas and other special eating animals.

Since the launch of the system pilot work in the Giant Panda National Park, the wild population of giant pandas has been stable, the habitat area has been expanded, and connectivity has been enhanced, and rich experience has been accumulated in management systems and mechanisms, scientific research and monitoring, international cooperation and exchanges, and community co-construction and co-management.

As the first batch of national parks officially established in the mainland, the Giant Panda National Park will set a new benchmark for the protection of wild giant pandas, provide a new source of power for the dissemination of global giant panda ecological culture, and strive to become a high-quality model for global giant panda protection and world ecological education. In the future, the Giant Panda National Park will become a natural secret place for the growth of all things, an important window to show the image of China, and a model for global biodiversity conservation and harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
