The reporter visited a travel agency in Seoul, South Korea, and saw that the employees of the China business department were busy sorting out customer information and receiving customer consultations. Especially after the giant panda Fubao returned to China early last month, the travel agency launched three panda-themed tour packages, which allow visitors to visit two or three panda conservation bases according to different packages, and experience Sichuan's special cuisine, including Chengdu, Xi'an and other surrounding cities, with panda tour packages ranging from about 4,000 yuan to 7,200 yuan. Although the price is expensive, there is an endless stream of customers who inquire about traveling.

Fang Qirong, head of the China business department of a South Korean travel agency: For the first time, a tourism product in China's Sichuan Province to see pandas up close was launched, and the "Panda Tour" package has been launched for a month, with 800 customers making reservations, and the sales volume has increased by 200% in one month compared with other Chinese tourism products.

Recently, there has been a growing demand from Korean tourists to visit China. According to data released by a large South Korean travel agency, the number of bookings for group tours to China soared by 608% year-on-year in May. Zhangjiajie, Hangzhou, Guilin and other areas with beautiful natural scenery have become the first choice for Korean tourists to travel to China, and Changbai Mountain has also become a tourist destination for Korean mountaineering enthusiasts. Summer is approaching, and some popular routes such as Hainan and Inner Mongolia have been fully booked out in July.

With the rapid increase in demand for South Korean tourism to China, airlines are resuming previously interrupted routes. Recently, Korean Air resumed flights from Incheon to Zhengzhou and Zhangjiajie after more than four years, Asiana Airlines will resume flights from Incheon to Chongqing, Xi'an and other places from the end of this month, and many airlines have also resumed direct routes to popular tourist destinations such as Qingdao, Haikou and Shijiazhuang.
