I drive trucks mainly to transport timber, from the company to the forest area to cross the vast rural areas. From what I've seen, africans farming is interesting. Their way of operation is completely different from that in China, they are all extensive cultivation. They have only two steps to farm, sowing and harvesting.
They don't know what fertilizer is and they can't hoe grass to water. After sowing, let the crops grow naturally, and finally how much grain can be harvested depends entirely on the sky. Africa is sparsely populated, and it is rare to see large tracts of farmland, and large tracts of land are overgrown with barren grass. Although there is a lot of land, many rural Africans do not farm at all, and when they are hungry, they pick wild fruits from trees to eat, they want to eat meat, they go to the river to catch fish, or they go outside to get some wild game. Therefore, people who farm in Africa are considered industrious people.
In Africa, both urban and rural, there are always a lot of idle people who gather together to talk about the mountains, do nothing, do not farm, do not work. And many of them are young people in their twenties and thirties. In domestic parlance, it is the age of hard work. Of course, Africans are not completely unemployed. Our company employs a lot of black people.
However, the black people who participate in the work are basically moonlight people, and they will spend all their money every time they are paid. They have no concept of saving money. Some blacks also consume in advance, such as installments to buy electronic products such as mobile phones. For the Chinese people, the African way of life is incredible. Because we are all working hard for the house, the car, the children, trying to save money, and pursuing a better life.
But in the minds of many Africans, there is no such idea at all. Their requirements for life are not high, they can build a house by picking up some wood on the side of the road, they will not buy cars, only a few rich people will buy.
