Recently, in the compound of the Mengzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice, Tian Shixiang, a member of the party and mass council of the three districts from Huichang Street, held the hand of mediator Shi Rongjiang and kept expressing his gratitude and presented a pennant with the words "Adjusting the People's Difficulties and Solving the Masses' Worries."
Tian Shixiang told reporters that there is a wall in the third district, because there is some dispute inside, which has not been resolved after 15 years. This time, the Bureau of Justice sent a mediator Comrade Shi Rongjiang to help mediate, after three days and three nights of hard work, Comrade Shi Rongjiang conducted in-depth investigation and study, and finally built this wall, and more than 1,000 residents in the three districts expressed their gratitude.
Things also have to start from the 90s of the last century, the beginning of the construction of the three districts, the middle of the wall and the next community separated, and then with the next community to build more and more houses, gradually to the west, they and the three districts between the wall of the road is only four meters wide, some of the residents of the next community in order to travel convenience, in around 1995 successively the wall has been opened, vehicles, personnel travel, etc. are passing through the three districts, so the contradictions caused by the two sides are accumulating more and more. In order to completely resolve this contradiction and dispute, on January 7, 2022, the Mengzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice appointed Shi Rongjiang, a full-time people's mediator, to mediate the case. Shi Rongjiang, who has been in the party for 37 years, is an old public security officer who joined the ranks of people's mediators after retiring in 2018. In the past three years of participating in mediation work, he has insisted on using the "three hearts", that is, patience, carefulness and publicity, to face every dispute, and to sincerely resolve disputes for the people through diligent speaking, diligent walking, and diligent thinking. In 2021, he gave full play to the role of the "first line of defense" of people's mediation, mediated 120 cases of various types and 20 important petition cases, and was rated as "Excellent People's Mediator of Henan Province".
After receiving the task, Shi Rongjiang rushed to the three districts in the afternoon of the same day, met with the members of the party and mass councils, found out the actual situation, analyzed and judged the situation, pinpointed the root causes of the contradictions, clarified the needs of both sides, and came up with a preliminary solution. Early the next morning, Shi Rongjiang sacrificed his weekend off, took the initiative to contact the street where the community was located, and after in-depth study, made further prejudgments on the contradictions between the two communities, and decided to follow the idea of "opening a key and opening a lock with one key, targeting policies", face-to-face mediation for some residents in the community, launching various social relations to communicate with them, knowing the reason, moving the feelings, and popularizing the law, one by one to dispel their ideological concerns. After three consecutive days of "white + black" overtime work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, more than 50 interviews were interviewed with residents in the community, and finally the understanding of most people was exchanged.
Construction of the wall began at 8:00 a.m. on January 10, and at 4 p.m., the construction of the wall, which was about 60 meters long and about 2.5 meters high, was completed. So far, the wall dispute that has lasted for 15 years and caused many contradictions and disputes has been completely resolved. Shi Rongjiang resolved the dispute with his efforts and won the affirmation and recognition of the masses for the people's mediation work.
