In recent years, the judicial administrative system of Liupanshui City has resolutely implemented the decision-making and deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, adhered to and developed the "Fengqiao Experience", established and improved the system of mediation organization construction, business training, investigation and mediation, etc., gave full play to the function of people's mediation work, eliminated hidden risks in the bud to the greatest extent, solved problems at the grass-roots level, and created a harmonious and stable social environment for the construction of a happy Liupanshui.
"Build" mediation organizations. Judicial administration, education, labor arbitration, the Communist Youth League, the Women's Federation and other departments have taken the lead in organizing and establishing the Liupanshui City People's Mediation Committee for Student Injury Accident Disputes, the People's Mediation Committee for Labor and Personnel Disputes, and the People's Mediation Committee for Intellectual Property Disputes, to further improve mediation organizations and gather mediation forces. By the end of 2021, there are 1291 people's mediation committees in the city, including 65 township mediation committees, 27 street mediation committees, and 1145 village (neighborhood) mediation committees, and grass-roots mediation organizations and mediation organizations for poverty alleviation and resettlement sites have achieved full coverage.
"Match" mediators. The city's 362 "first secretaries" stationed in villages will be enriched to village-level people's mediation organizations, with a resolution fund of 200,000 yuan, 20 professional lawyers will be hired to participate in guiding the mediation of complex contradictions and disputes at the village level, and 255 village (resident) legal advisers will be included in the village-level people's mediators to enrich the strength of the grass-roots mediation team. By the end of 2021, there will be a total of 8,696 people's mediators in the city, including 185 full-time people's mediators in townships (towns, streets) and 1,251 full-time people's mediators in villages (residences).
"Mention" the quality and effectiveness of mediation. Persist in focusing on the grassroots, taking the initiative to visit, and resolving at the source, strengthen the daily investigation and key investigation of civil contradictions and disputes, give full play to the advantages of legal counsel's professional mediation, so that civil contradictions and disputes are discovered and mediated early, and social harmony and stability are truly maintained. In 2021, the city's people's mediation committees at all levels mediated and handled a total of 6140 cases of various contradictions and disputes, successfully mediated 5988 cases, with a success rate of 97%, and applied for judicial confirmation of 835 cases.
