From the currently exposed CAmouflage photos of the BYD Cruiser 05 model, it can be vaguely seen that it is highly consistent with the X DREAM concept car previously unveiled, and it is very likely that it will be a mass-produced version of the X DREAM concept car.
If this is the case, elements of the BYD family such as the classic large-size grille and flat LED light group design seen in the concept car will be retained on the real car.
In addition, it is reported that the BYD Cruiser 05 has a large body size and will be between Song PLUS and Tang, speculating that its wheelbase reaches 2900mm and is available in 7-seat layout options.
In terms of interior, with reference to the design of the previous X DREAM concept car, it is expected to continue the style of the "Ocean Net" series.
The warm colors are matched with a particularly conspicuous large-size suspension central control screen, creating a good high-end atmosphere.
With the hot sales of DM-i supermix, BYD Cruiser 05 will also be equipped with DM-i super hybrid system, which is composed of a 1.5L high-efficiency engine and an EHS hybrid system, of which the 1.5L engine has a maximum power of 81kW and a peak torque of 135N·m.
At the same time, two sets of EHS electromix systems are available, namely EHS132 and EHS145, the maximum power of the motor is 132kW and 145kW, and the peak torque is 316N·m and 325N·m, respectively.
At the battery level, BYD's exclusive blade battery will be used, and the NEDC mileage will be 55 kilometers and 120 kilometers respectively according to the capacity of different pure electrical conditions.
Although most of the information points of the BYD Cruiser 05 are still in the guessing stage and are reserved, according to BYD's consistent tonality, there is a high probability that the X DREAM concept car will be perfectly mass-produced, and there will be no cases such as "concept Fan Bingbing, mass production of Luo Yufeng".
From the current positioning and attributes, it is not difficult to see that there is a possibility of greater overlap and competition between BYD Cruiser 05 and BYD Song PLUM DM-i models, but this may also be what BYD wants to do, after all, it is easy to fight with more sons.
