He is like a great tree, sheltering those in need.
Bian Jinfeng, male, a native of Wutai County, Shanxi Province, born in November 1953, joined the army in 1969, joined the Communist Party of China in October 1971, retired from the army in April 1973, returned to his hometown, participated in agricultural production labor, and served as the commander of the commune's basic militia company. In May 1976, he was recommended to work in Wutai County Fertilizer Factory, serving as the director and secretary of the branch plant. In April 1996, he was transferred to wutai county printing factory director, and in September 2006, the enterprise was restructured into wutai county printing co., ltd., and served as the chairman of the board. At the same time, he also serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the Wutai County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Wutai County Federation of Industry and Commerce, vice president of the General Chamber of Commerce, and executive vice president and secretary general of the Wutai County Caring for the Next Generation Of Education Assistance Association. He has won the honorary titles of "Excellent Enterprise Operator" in Shanxi Province, "Most Beautiful Retired Soldier" and "Wutai Good Man" in Wutai County, and was selected as "China's Good Man" in November 2017. Five years of tempering in the army cultivated his style of life and work of being diligent and thrifty, working hard, and not being afraid of difficulties, and laid the foundation for his later work. He was recommended to work in the Fertilizer Factory in Wutai County, and he studied hard and studied hard, and because of this, he soon became a cadre of the enterprise. In 1988, Bian Jinfeng was assigned to the branch as the director of the factory and the secretary of the party branch, and he fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the management personnel and production workers, so that the economic benefits of the factory increased year by year.
Founded in 1956, Wutai County Printing Factory has a glorious history, entering the market economy printing plant gradually fell into a trough, it is difficult to maintain the operation, the monthly salary of employees is only more than 30 yuan. After Bian Jinfeng took office, he first raised 5,000 yuan of funds to build a large billboard with a length of 15 meters and a height of 2 meters on the main street of the county to increase the popularity of the printing plant. At the same time, he also personally went out many times to find people from all walks of life to seek help. With a bold and enterprising momentum, the printing plant was soon revived, and the wages of the workers were doubled in less than half a year, and the next year the factory built a production office building and a staff dormitory building, improving the production and office environment, solving the problem of housing difficulties for employees, and the enterprise continued to grow and develop.
Bian Jinfeng's deeds, city and county television stations, provincial newspapers and periodicals, etc. have carried out many publicity reports, and the organizations of enterprise workers and young women have been commended at the provincial, municipal and county levels.
Helping the weak and the poor write the true feelings of the world
Since the early 1990s, Bian Jinfeng has used his hard-earned money to pay tuition fees for children from poor families, buy daily necessities for children whose parents have died, take in orphans and widows for the elderly, pay tuition fees for children who cannot afford to go to college, donate funds for education, donate homes for the elderly, and fund road construction in his hometown. At the same time, Bian Jinfeng also cares about the lives of local disabled people and helps them solve practical difficulties many times.
In 2013, when Bian Jinfeng entrusted people with 5,000 yuan for a female middle school student with leukemia in Doucun, although the child was eventually unable to be treated due to the deterioration of his condition, she always remembered the kind person who helped her, and repeatedly asked her father to meet this kind person for herself before her death.
In 2014, after learning that a father in his 50s who came to the printing house to print a thank-you letter for a school teacher and student who had collected donations for his son's illness, Bian Jinfeng immediately took out 5,000 yuan to help his child see a doctor.
In 2015, Bian Jinfeng and his employees donated more than 4,000 yuan to a girl with leukemia in Dongye, and in the same year, he donated 10,000 yuan to the disabled in the community to purchase handmade materials.
In 2016, he helped an outstanding girl who missed out on college because she could not afford to pay tuition, and let her dream come true to Sichuan University of Science and Technology.
In 2017, he customized a brand new futon pillow for all 86 boarding students at Xigou Elementary School, complete with duvet covers and sheets.
In 2018, he donated a new uniform worth more than 30,000 yuan to 304 students of Shenxi United School.
In 2019, he made a school uniform for The House Cavity School and funded each poor student with a cash of 1,000 yuan, a total of more than 30,000 yuan.
In 2020, he called on entrepreneurs of the Federation of Industry and Commerce to donate 10,000 yuan to fight the epidemic and took the lead in donating 10,000 yuan, and the county's enterprises donated as much as 450,000 yuan; as usual, he funded 3,000 yuan each of the 2 poor college students who helped in previous years; Li Yuan, a proud son of the five college entrance examinations, was admitted to Peking University (a poor household), and he sent 5,000 yuan; he saw a 15-year-old child in Dongye Town on the Internet who suddenly suffered a serious intracranial infection and gave a love, he wrote in his notepad: Today is the Founding Day, and he donated 10,000 yuan for the child.
