After going to prison, he was still not at ease, so he destroyed his legs and wanted to kill him. In desperation, Sun Zhi had to pretend to be crazy and stupid, which escaped a disaster, and finally fled to the State of Qi to become a military division, helping the State of Qi to defeat the State of Wei, laying the foundation for the status of the State of Qi, and his writings in his later years also had a great impact on the military aspects of later generations.
The second person to say has a very high status in the field of historiography, and is called Shi Sheng by posterity, presumably everyone knows who he is, yes, Sima Qian, and the historical records he wrote played a very important role in the study of Chinese history. But what everyone doesn't know is that he has suffered unbearable humiliation.
As a descendant of historians, he was very desperate after being tortured by the palace, and even had the idea of taking his own life, but in the end he endured this great humiliation and the eyes of the world's criticism, and successfully wrote brilliant works in the field of historiography. If he had directly cut off his own life at that time, there would be no book.
The third person to say is also very familiar to everyone, and the degree of forbearance can be said to have reached its peak, he is yue wang gouge. Everyone knows that after his defeat, in order to survive, the king of a great country became a lowly servant, not only to do some dirty work every day, but even to taste feces for them. This humiliation can be imagined, but he endured it, and then after being pardoned and returned to China, he developed the strength of his country, and finally launched a war to capture the state of Wu.
All the above deeds tell us the importance of patience, but then again, it is good for us to endure things that should be endured, but if it is a particularly excessive thing, your patience will only increase the flames of the arrogance of the lawbreakers, so you should endure when you should endure, and you don't need to endure until the limit.
