Speaking of Zhuge Liang's name, everyone in later generations knows that he was a military master obtained by Liu Beisan Gu Maolu, and he was also the "wisdom star" of the Shu Kingdom. Zhuge Liang's life was born in a chaotic world, but he was full of ambition. He was loyal to Liu Bei, and as a military master, he scrupulously fulfilled his duties, and even if the rear lord Liu Chan was "an unaffordable Ah Dou", he never had half a point. Although the five Northern Expeditions were unsatisfactory, they also reflected Zhuge Liang's strong military ability of far-sightedness and planning.
In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the standards for Zhuge Liang's appearance are top hats, lupines and wheelchairs. Zhuge Liang himself has no problems with his healthy legs, and even has superb horseback riding skills. So in the dangerous battlefield, why did Zhuge Liang insist on "sitting in a wheelchair"? His opponent Sima Yi once pointed out: This is the most terrible thing about him.
Zhuge Liang was born in a family of officials in Yangdu County, Langya County, and traveled with his uncle in his early years. After the death of his uncle, Zhuge Liang returned to the hidden mountains and forests, and spent all day planting and reading for a living. Other hermits were eager to achieve something, and most of them entered politics early, but Zhuge Liang compared himself to Guan Zhong, a famous politician of the State of Qi in the Spring and Autumn Period, and had lofty political ideals.
In 207 AD, Liu Beisan Gu Maolu invited Zhuge Liang, a move that not only changed the fate of the two men, but also changed the situation in the Shu state. The resourceful Zhuge Liang did not disappoint Liu Bei, and he united with Sun Quan according to Longzhong's countermeasures to help Liu Bei capture Jingzhou and Xichuan.
After Liu Bei lost Jingzhou, he was defeated at Yiling, and the previous advantages of the Shu army were wiped out. When Liu Bei died, he left Zhuge Liang with his last wish for the Northern Expedition against Cao Wei. After Zhuge Liang took charge of the army, he would sit in a "wheelchair" every time there was a march. In fact, this "wheelchair" is not ordinary, it is also called "su you".
"Yulin" records that "Wuhou commanded the three armies by Suyu" refers to Zhuge Liang riding on "Suyu", and the volume of this tool is actually larger than that of a wheelchair, with a little chariot nature. Zhuge Liangzhi chose to use this kind of wheelchair because his speed became slower, like an ordinary creep, rather than the fastest general on horseback. When fighting, due to the inconvenience of movement, no matter what the situation, he would certainly not abandon his soldiers and take the lead in fleeing.
The deeper implication was to tell his soldiers that he vowed to live and die with the army. Generals often play a rallying role in the barracks, and when they all show unwavering determination, how can the soldiers not swear allegiance to the death? This is also the cleverness of Zhuge Liang's move, as long as he sits there, he is the "reassuring pill" of the Shu Army. Because they knew that the military master was behind them, he would give advice, and he would never leave first. Such a person is indeed extremely frightening to the opponent.
Zhuge Liang can be described as both wise and courageous, and the close friendship between him and Liu Bei that transcends the superiors and subordinates is also touching. Du Fu, the "poet saint" of the Tang Dynasty, once praised Zhuge Liang's unparalleled talent with "a feather in the clouds of eternity".
"Transporting Han Zuo will never be recovered" also tells Zhuge Liang's final regrettable ending. It can be said that his life has been bowed to the Kuang Fu Han Room, but he alone can not reverse the Shu Han whose luck has been exhausted.
