Introducing OLED panels to the iPad presents a new opportunity for LGDisplay, as the device's display size and aspect ratio are not currently easily achievable by rival vendors. Another recent report said BOE is also ready to provide OLED panels for future iPad models.

Sources say LG plans to start mass production of these panels at its Paju plant in 2024, a time that is largely in line with other recent reports.
