IT House April 19 news, according to NoteBookCheck news, HP is preparing to release a foldable 17-inch laptop with a flexible LG OLED screen later this year. SK IE Technology, a subsidiary of SK Group, will supply flexible polyimide (PI) films.
HP's foldable laptops are rumored to feature 4K flexible displays that can be expanded from 11 inches to 17 inches, most likely using the bendable OLED panels LG showcased at the CES Expo earlier this year.

South Korean media outlet Thelec said that SK IE Technology expects to produce about 10,000 films; LG Display plans to produce thousands or as many as about 10,000 foldable OLED panels starting in the third quarter.
IT House learned that in 2020, Lenovo released the ThinkPad X1 Fold folding screen notebook, equipped with a 13.3-inch touch folding screen, 1535×2048 resolution, and a 4:3 2K OLED screen. This screen also comes from LG Display.
