At present, olED screens have achieved adaptive refresh rates, such as Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro, realme GT2 Pro and other models, they use LTPO 2.0 screens.
Based on the second generation of LTPO materials, these models can achieve an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, giving full play to the low-power characteristics of LTPO, which intelligently matches the optimal refresh rate for different content and operations, avoiding additional power consumption caused by invalid screen refresh.
Redmi K30S Extreme Edition
On the LCD, there are currently manufacturers for the use of scenarios to do refresh rate adaptive function, like Redmi K30S Extreme Edition, the machine has 7 levels of adjustable refresh rate, the system can automatically switch between 30Hz and 144Hz according to different application scenarios, in order to achieve better power saving purposes.
Now Huaxing Optoelectronics has gone further and achieved a refresh rate of 15Hz, which can achieve lower power consumption and more power saving in scenarios such as reading e-books.
At present, it is not certain when this screen will be mass-produced and commercial, and there is speculation that the Redmi Note 11T Pro may use this LCD screen, which is worth looking forward to.
