On the occasion of the Spring Festival, foreign experts gathered together to feel the art of intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting and welcome the Spring Festival.

Walking into the Guangxi International Paper Art Center, the fiery red lanterns hanging high, the firecracker hanging ornaments on the walls, the decorative small objects, the couplets pasted on the doors, and the display of paper-cut works with different shape styles and different meanings brought by non-hereditary inheritors, greeted by a strong New Year atmosphere.
At the event site, the organizer introduced the historical origin, legends and customs of the Spring Festival to foreign experts, and deepened the understanding and understanding of foreign experts about the Chinese New Year. A number of foreign experts from Thailand, South Korea and other countries shared their unforgettable experiences of celebrating the Spring Festival in China, and also shared the customs and habits of the Spring Festival in their own countries and the ways of holding related festivals, so that everyone could understand the different customs of many countries. Ms. Jin, a Korean professor who works in the Calligraphy Department of Guangxi Academy of Arts, wrote the word "Fu" in her own handwriting after sharing, expressing her good Wishes for the New Year to the guests present.
Foreign experts experience intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting
In the exhibition and experience of intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting skills, the event organizers invited Mr. Zhong, a representative inheritor of guangxi Nanning intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting, to show and teach Chinese paper-cutting art to foreign experts on the spot. Foreign experts expressed their amazement at Mr. Zhong's craftsmanship and participated in the paper-cutting experience. Ms. Pasu, a Thai professor from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said: "This is my first Spring Festival in China, and it is also the first time to experience Chinese paper-cutting culture, such activities are really meaningful, making my Spring Festival more warm and unforgettable."
