In the counterattack against the Vietnamese self-defense, there was a Tianjin boy who fought alone in order to cover the main force and died heroically, he was Fu Pingshan, an officer from Tianjin!
01 Give me up alone to save the overall situation
Fu Pingshan was born in 1957 in Tanggu, Tianjin, when he was a teenager, he was selected for the national team because he was good at playing football, and at the age of 19, Fu Pingshan chose to enlist in the army, and he performed well in the army, and was soon promoted to deputy battalion staff officer of the Reconnaissance Section.
When the counterattack against the Vietnamese self-defense broke out, Fu Pingshan did not hesitate to choose to fight, and his twelfth reconnaissance brigade, code-named "Flying Tiger", immediately rushed to the border front after receiving the order.
Before leaving, Fu Pingshan's wife was also attached to him, and the couple left a commemorative photo at the train station, no one could have imagined that this photo had become the last photo of Fu Pingshan's life, and the difference between the husband and wife was a farewell.
As the saying goes, "know oneself and know one's enemy and win every battle", in order to gain a deeper understanding of the combat situation of the Vietnamese army, Fu Pingshan's reconnaissance brigade found that the soldiers of the Vietnamese army would go alone to fetch water at a certain time after many surveys.
Therefore, Fu Pingshan decided to sneak in for the time being, and then capture the fallen Vietnamese army to obtain accurate information. Unexpectedly, a Vietnamese woman actually discovered the whereabouts of Fu Pingshan and others, and also told the Vietnamese army about this matter.
In this way, Fu Binh Shan and his twelfth reconnaissance group were attacked by the Vietnamese army. In the face of the Vietnamese army of more than a hundred people, in the case of a strong enemy and a weak enemy, Fu Pingshan knew that if it was delayed any longer, the troops would be completely destroyed, so he boldly stood up and made a decision, willing to serve as bait and cover the retreat of the main force.
Saying that it was too late and fast, Fu Pingshan released several empty guns in a row, which attracted the enemy's pursuit. Relying on his familiarity with the terrain, Fu Pingshan was in a stalemate with the enemy for six days and five nights. Under the cover of Fu Pingshan, the comrades-in-arms broke through the siege and returned to the camp safely, while Fu Pingshan was alone in danger!
After the enemy launched the final fierce general offensive, Fu Pingshan, who was less than 30 years old, died heroically, he was the highest level of sacrifice of our army' scout, and the angry Vietnamese army refused to let Go of Fu Pingshan and sealed his body into the cement of the martyrs' cemetery.
This caused the Twelfth Reconnaissance Brigade to suffer great shame and humiliation, and the comrades-in-arms offered a reward of 10,000 yuan and vowed to bring Fu Pingshan's body back to China when they died. The vietnamese people finally brought one of Fu Pingshan's heads back to Tanggu, Tianjin.
02 The wife was devastated and left alone for life
The news of Fu Pingshan's heroic sacrifice was undoubtedly a huge blow to his wife, and in order not to let the old mother worry about Fu Pingshan, his wife Yu Yanping has been pretending that her husband Fu Pingshan is still alive and doing filial piety for him.
The daughter has no father, the old mother has no son, Yan Ping is struggling to support the whole family, and even the state has extended a helping hand to her, which has been rejected by Yan Ping. After Fu Pingshan's sacrifice, his wife Yu Yanping raised her daughter alone, and instead of remarrying, she chose to stay alone for life, Yu Yanping was a military doctor, saving countless people in her life and serving the country.
On September 5, 1987, Fu Quanyou, then commander of the Chengdu Military Region, and Wan Haifeng, political commissar, signed an order to posthumously commemorate the first class merit of martyr Fu Pingshan.
In order to defend his family and defend the country, Fu Pingshan sacrificed his precious life for the country.
