Yan is the first batch of family bed doctors in Shanghai, serving in Pengpu Town for more than 20 years.
26 years ago, he just graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gave up the opportunity to enter the general hospital, chose the community as a stage to realize the value of his life, and became the first doctor to provide bed service at the former Wanrong District Hospital in Zhabei District (now the Pengpu Town Community Health Service Center in Jing'an District).
He regards family doctors as a lifelong passion, especially in promoting the comprehensive reform of community health, he led the members of the Innovation Studio team to continuously explore unique family doctor work experience and methods, contributing to the development of health and health; as a community medical worker who has been fighting in the front line of maintaining the health of residents for a long time, Yan Normal appears with residents when they need them most.
He was known to the residents as "Doctor Key". In 1999, Aunt Yu, who lives in Wanrong Community, handed him the keys to her home in order to facilitate the solemn visit to the hospital. With the accumulation of time, there are more and more keys in strict custody, 1, 10, 20, 30... The reputation of "Key Doctor" has not gone away.
Aunt Chen is a retired Young Man who retired to Shanghai, with a sudden cerebral infarction, limb hemiplegia, and loss of the ability to take care of herself. At the recommendation of a neighbor, Aunt Chen's daughter found Yan Zheng. Yan Zheng specially formulated a rehabilitation training program for Aunt Chen, promising her to visit her home at least 3 times a week for acupuncture treatment and massage, and working with her to overcome the problem of illness. Whether it was windy or rainy, or heavy snow, Yan Zheng came to Aunt Chen's home on time, and in order to continue treatment, he also insisted on visiting the home on weekends. One day at noon, Yan Zheng, who had returned to the hospital from the clinic, just wanted to eat, and he received a call from Lao Bo's daughter, saying that the old man was clamoring to find Dr. Yan and suddenly disappeared. Yan Zheng immediately put down his rice bowl, braved the scorching sun, and Li Laobo's daughter immediately looked for him separately, and after more than an hour of waiting, he finally found the old man. And Old Uncle Li saw Yan Zheng happy like a child, and finally found his Doctor Yan. Seeing that the old man was sitting on the ground weakly, he squatted down and coaxed the old man to climb on his back, and carried the old man back home step by step.
The old man's daughter could not speak for a long time, no amount of words could express her gratitude, and all that Yan Zheng had done had long exceeded what he should have done. She offered her money to express her gratitude, but was solemnly refused, saying: "I am a doctor, this is all I should do, if I take a piece, then I am not worth a piece." ”
Many patients do not trust community doctors, believing that they can only look at minor diseases and have no big skills. In this regard, Yan Zheng believes: "We can't play 'back down' because of the prejudice of others, we should insist on using our own practical actions to let patients see that family doctors not only have professional skills, but also more comprehensive knowledge areas." ”
Mr. Mei Lao, who is more than 90 years old, has been treated in several major hospitals for intermittent urinary blood, but the cause of the disease cannot be found. As a family doctor, Yan Zheng has been paying attention to the symptoms of the old man, and after careful examination, he found that the old man had a slight jaundice on his skin, and after repeatedly checking the medical history, he had doubts in his heart.
At a home visit, the old man just finished going to the bathroom, solemnly squatted in front of the toilet, carefully checked the shape, color and smell of excrement, combined with clinical experience to conduct abdominal examination again, basically concluded that it was a pancreatic tumor. After the family learned about the situation, they sent the elderly to Zhongshan Hospital for treatment in time and were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After treatment, the old man's life has been extended, the quality of life has been improved, he said to everyone: "It was Dr. Yan who saved me, and the family doctor in the community is also very skilled!" ”

In Shanghai, more than 6,000 family doctors like Yan Zheng became the health gatekeepers of residents. In order to help other family doctors to work better, he carefully summarized his 26 years of service experience, sorted out the "five-heart work method" full of wisdom and painstaking efforts, and taught his colleagues.
